Always follow the assembly instructions provided. Review: Great deal for premade camper box - I'm pretty happy with this. Wasn't planning on using it 100% as I got this off of desertcart resale, it was already put together mostly which I was not expecting and pleased about. I have to build a square base for this to lift up since my trunk is recessed relative to the rear door, not a problem. There are scratches on the wood but mostly cosmetic. It was missing the plastic risers but those are the wrong height for my vehicle anyway, was already planning to build my own. For $200 lightly used this was an absolute steal IMO. Direction were not great but it was fairly easy to put together. Made my minivan into a camper :)
