This is an excellent sealer and perfect for storing grains, pasta, beans, and other food stuffs that can get stale. I sometimes have a problem getting the regular size lids to seal on the first try, but the wide mouth lids always seal perfectly. The suction is good and seals in a short amount of time.

I have been using my vacuum sealer nonstop. I usually make meals for the week and they won’t last several weeks sealed in mason jars.

It keeps fresh pineapple from spoiling! It’s worth the price just for that reason. I didn’t find that it kept salad fresh very long. I’m still experimenting

Received for a Christmas gift. I am disappointed followed the instructions, did not seal a “ball” mason. I tried to wash and heat the seal on the lid, still would not seal the jar. I will be returning this product.

just so you are are not disappointed- the vacuum sealer works well on large lids / jars-- but does not work at all on smaller size lids... disappointed since I bought small jars and only a few large jars :{I have not tried the bags yet!

I never knew these things existed until recently. We gave our old one away to a friend who was ecstatic over it, and this one is even better than the original one we had. I like that it does both regular and wide mouth, saving the need to have 2 different sizes on hand.The vacuum works decently quickly depending on how much air/space you have left after filling the jar. Some only take 30 seconds, some take 60, but I prefer just to use the AUTO mode that detects when the vacuum has reached maximum. Removing excess air (oxygen being the critical component) will help preserve anything stored from oxidation (rust) spoilage (bacteria caused rot), fermentation (yeast caused decay) etc.It also does vacuum bags, and containers, although we don't have any to test it on, I suspect it works equally well on those based on this experience. The fact that it is rechargeable with the more up to date USB C charging cable this will last a very long time. I can't recommend this type of tool strong enough, and this specific one is definitely on the deluxe end of the spectrum.

This is a decent 3-in-1 electric Mason jar vacuum sealer kit that seems reasonably well-made and for the most part works as expected without issues; however, it's pricey compared to most others of similar design and style despite the fact it claims to be rated for -80 kPa (vs. standard 60-65 kPa) and does support the use of standard and wider mouth air valve lids.The build quality seems decent albeit typical of most others at this point in time with an all-plastic ABS construction although by no means it feels cheap or flimsy. As a matter fact, it does appear to be sturdy and robust, at least structurally as far as plastic is concerned. It's fairly hefty which I'll assume that's a good sign given the circumstance. It comes with everything needed (i.e. 5x standard lids and 5x large lids) to get started along with 3x vacuum seal bags, sealing clips, and lid openers; nothing fancy here.I can't determine if it's indeed capable of -80 kPa of vacuum but as far as I can tell, I see no discernible differences between this and others that I've come across and tested (about a dozen) in terms of overall performance and the quality of the vacuum seal; those sealed by this particular vacuum sealer doesn't appear to be more difficult to open during the test.I should also mention that while this claims to have higher suction power, it's actually rated only at 5W whereas most others are rated at 10W, so take what you will from that. It has a 2000 mAh rechargeable (via USB-C) which is nice although it's also unverified. The maximum runtime is 150 seconds which is slightly higher than the average of 120 seconds from most other vacuum sealers. It has typical LED digital display that just about all others have that shows time elapsed and battery capacity remaining; nothing fancy here.It has a power button (same as all others) and a single press of it will start/stop vacuuming process; it's fully automatic and will stop once the desire vacuum has been reached and it can be removed following a beep. You can also manually set the timer (30 sec/60 sec) should you have the need for it instead of the default (i.e. vacuum state).≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a decent 3-in-1 electric Mason jar vacuum sealer kit that seems reasonably well-made and for the most part works as expected without issues; however, despite what's being advertised (i.e. strong suction), I don't find this perform any better than others with slightly lower rating (i.e. -60 kPa). This vacuum sealer is surprisingly convenient for how small it is. It fits both regular and wide mouth mason jars without needing to take anything apart, and it seals quickly with the press of a button. I like that it stops automatically once the vacuum is done, so there is no guessing or overworking it. It has been great for dry goods like rice, flour, coffee, and snacks, and it also works well with the included vacuum bags for meat and leftovers for the sous vide.I started keeping my berries in mason jars, and once sealed with this, they last 2 weeks in the fridge instead of just a few days. I love that I can open the jar to have some, and re seal it in seconds.The size is a big plus. It takes up very little counter space and is easy to store, and being rechargeable means I am not tied to an outlet every time I use it. The suction feels strong and consistent, and the jars seal firmly every time so far. It is much easier than using a manual pump and a lot less clutter than a full-size vacuum sealer.Once you get used to it, though, it is very straightforward. Overall, it is a handy little tool if you use mason jars for storage and want a simple, space-saving way to vacuum seal food.

This works very well! Like really well!. I was surprised at how much suction ability this little unit has. When I took it out of the box and first tried it I placed it on the counter and hit power, not realizing it would start up. It stuck itself to the counter so well it was hard to get off, but at some point it senses the vacuum limit and releases itself.It's very, very simple to operate, just put the inner lid(it'll handle two sizes) on the mason jar, place the unit over top and go. It's powerful, fun and just surprisingly efficient. Now for more fun! It works well with sous vide baggies with the valve, some are included to get you started. I already ordered more knowing I'll use these more than the mason jars.This is a battery operated rechargeable unit that comes with the charging cable. It lasts quite a while and I'm still on the first charge. It also comes with a handy jar opener for the vacuumed lid to help pry it loose when it's time to reopen and use the contents.Overall a very, very handy unit that I didn't realize I needed but now I love it!

IF I was rating this PROFKA vacuum sealer, JUST as a Mason jar related item, I would absolutely have ranked it higher. But they even included plastic bags in the product package, leading me to fully believe that this could easily seal both jars and bags.And maybe in some world that isn't the one I inhabit, it does seal bags. But not in mine.I believe that I have tried everything I could think of and I didn't make any progress at all in sealing bags. Zero results.I honestly didn't expect to have this problem According to the product specifications, this device can seal BOTH Mason Jars and vacuum sealing bags.The mason jars are no problem as that is basically just plug and play mode. A good seal was established every time. I used the auto mode and everything functioned perfectly including shutdown when the seal was complete.It's the vacuum bags function that has me confused. I'm sure I did everything that was supposed to be done and frankly absolutely nothing was the result. Repeatedly. And I used all the bags supplied with the unit just to be sure it wasn't a defective bag. And allowed a LOT of time to see any results. While the instructions for this function are non-existent, that shouldn't be a problem for the simple steps which supposedly are all you have to take to seal the bag. From the loose fitting bag sealing device to the apparent complete lack of result, this process failed completely for me. If anyone has had better luck I would appreciate hearing how they did it as I wanted this unit as a one-stop item to seal BOTH bags and jars, and for bags, it's just a complete no-go from my perspective.If I am missing an important step here, as I said, I am happy to be so informed, and if that is the case I will even more happily revise this review.
