I am not sure why it says anything about batteries. I bought this here because my salon was out at the time but it’s half the price through a salon. This Amazon seller is doubling the price so if you can find it elsewhere it might save you money. It is good stuff though if you have frizz because it helps tame it otherwise I didn’t notice anything else. **Q: Can you use this on dry hair or does it have to be wet?** A: I use it on dry hair sometimes but mostly wet hair. If I use it on dry I only use a little otherwise my hair is so thin it weighs it down a bit. **Q: I need a complete list of ingredients due to my skin allergies. Buy it, it won’t disappoint. For clarity, I have very long, curly hair that easily frizzies, I just add it to my toweled dry (still wet) hair and don’t need anything else to it control the frizz or curls for the day. On the first use, I used maybe 4 pumps onto my hand and worked it mostly into the top of hair and then combed in down throughout the rest of my hair - blew it dry and I noticed a difference immediately. Was it perfect? No but this was the first time I used it. It didn't weigh my hair down at all. Fast forward several hours of out running around and my hair 'still' looked fine. I would imagine once I use this on the regular, my hair will look smooth/shiny/silky.
