Data Dynamo
I love how easy it is to use—just plug it into my laptop or desktop and insert the microSD card, and voila! My files transfer quickly without any lag, saving me precious time during busy workdays or while editing my latest photography project. The durable design ensures it withstands frequent use, making it a reliable tool in my tech arsenal. The dual-slot feature is fantastic, allowing me to use both SD and microSD cards simultaneously, which is perfect for multitasking. Plus, the compact size makes it easy to carry around in my bag, ensuring I always have it on hand for any data transfer needs. However, the reader can sometimes feel a bit flimsy, especially when inserting and removing the cards repeatedly, but it hasn’t caused any issues so far. Additionally, while it’s compatible with a wide range of devices, ensuring a proper connection might require a quick restart on some older systems.Overall, the SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader is a must-have for anyone dealing with microSD cards regularly. It’s fast, reliable, and incredibly convenient, making data transfers seamless and efficient. A solid 5-star rating for its speed and versatility, with a tiny star lost to its occasional flimsiness.

The only adapter that works with Tesla Dashcam/Sentry
i’ve been trying to replace the factory USB drive on my Tesla (for dashcam and sentry video recording) with a microSD card and adapter. I literally tried FIVE different adapters, from USB 2.0 to 3.2, including the one listed as Amazon's Choice, and the Tesla gave error messages about slow speed with every single one of them. I was on the verge of giving up, until I read about this SanDisk MobileMate on a Tesla forum and decided to give it a try.No errors!! I wish it had a USB-C end for my laptop, but thankfully I have five spare adapters to choose from, all of which work fine with my laptop. No idea why Tesla is so picky, but if you are in the same boat, skip the others and just buy this to begin with.

Works for what I needed
It works for the most part, I kind of have to press the microSD into it a bit hard to get it to read. Other than that, it works as intended.

Great to have around when you need to move info from desktop to Micro SD
I used to have one but it broke on me and I got this one to replace it. Works great, lets desktop work with Mircro SD storage devices. Allowing me to move information and data to and from various sources for work and personal projects. Great to have on you, would always recommend having one of these on hand.

It does not always work. There is an electrical connection issue in the device
This card reader is not always recognized by the computer when you plug it into the computer. I had to plug it into the computer a few times before the computer can recognize the card reader. It absolutely does not work when you plug the card reader into the computer with the card already inserted into the card reader. For it to work you have to remove the card reader from the computer, remove the card from the card reader, plug the card reader back into the computer then plug the card into the card reader. Even then it only work 35 percent of the time. I have the same issues when I tried this with different cards and different computers. This tells me there is an electrical connection issue with the is car reader. Its garbage.

Works with Tesla Sentry Mode in glove box
Works with Tesla Sentry Mode in glove box with some caveats:- Car didn't detect it the first time, I had to unplug, wait 3 seconds, plug back in- Works through an Anker USB 3.0 hub as wellOnly been a few days, so far so good.
