So many times I've been trying to hang 90° brackets for a shelf or whatever and I needed to make a tiny dot to mark where my screws will go, but just could not get my pencil or pen thru that tiny hole far enough to make just that little tiny dot I needed. Well that will not be an issue going forward..!!.. These long head deep hole markers from V Viatanst are exactly the right tool for that job.!!. You get 4 different colors, 2 of each color so 8 long head markers all together. Not only am I now able to put that little tiny dot exactly where I want it but that tiny little dot is very visible as these markers really lay down a nice, solid mark and not just a tiny little pin mark that I have to use a flashlight to search for after making the mark. The line is highly visible from these markers and after testing each one of the 8 markers I received, each marker made the same exact highly visible mark, often times I'll have to throw at least a couple new makers away right after purchasing them because it always seems like there's at least one or two of the brand new markers I bought that are already dried out and basically useless to me, but each and every one of these markers were fresh and left a great line/dot that I had no trouble seeing at all. When they say "long head markers" they really meant it, the head on each one of these markers is about 2 inches long and no thicker than that of a pencil lead (not the pencil itself but rather the actual pencil lead that runs thru the center of the pencil). I'm very satisfied with my order and I'm very happy with the way these makers work. On top of when I need to make that tiny dot for things like hanging a 90° shelf bracket there are other times when having that long head on a marker will come in handy. I got these because I do a lot of woodworking and needed something slimmer than the pencils I had been using. Those were too wide to fit into some tools for marking exact lengths. When I first tried these, they felt solid and wrote smoothly right away. The tips are narrow enough to reach into tight spots and deep holes without trouble. All of the markers I tested worked straight out of the package. In use, they performed exactly how I hoped. The ink flows well and dries fast without smearing. I was especially curious about the white marker and found it showed up clearly even on darker surfaces and did not smear once dry. The other colors worked well on plastic and wood and stayed put. I compared them to other deep hole markers I own and found the reach to be just as good without bulky caps. I like that there are two of each color so I can keep them in different work areas. I gave it 5 stars because these solved a problem I kept running into and work better for me than standard woodworking pencils. They mark cleanly, reach where I need them to, and feel reliable. For 9.99, the value feels very good and I will keep these in regular rotation in my shop.

If you’ve ever needed to mark the inside of a tight template or mark a hole to mount something that’s a little deeper and/or narrower than your pen/pencil will allow you to reach, you’ll appreciate the utility of these markers. In the past I’ve had to resort to a metal straight pick (think ice pick if you’re not familiar) to mark a wall where I need to drill. While that works most of the time, it’s often hard to find your mark if you have to step away and return. These guys are a godsend if you do this sort of thing often. They come in multiple colors so you can find what stands out most (or least if that’s your preference) for your project, and the nibs are nice and long and narrow for those deep reach or precise marking situations. I love the utility of these and the quantity makes these a great value. I did experience a little bit of bleeding if I use a heavy hand or move to slow on paper, but at normal speed or with a less absorbent surface I’ve had no issues (see pic). I’m quite happy with these!

These have a good sized tip and write nicely. Each one I tried worked as expected. I was intrigued by the white marker, curious if it would be visible. I used it on a black socket that hadn't had all of the factory oil cleaned off, just wiped dry. I let it dry for 10 seconds or so and it was smear-fast! Nice. I wrote with a couple of colors on the plastic handle of a bread scorer, and they also didn't smear. I have other deep hole markers and they have caps with an exaggerated shape that makes it look like its accommodating a super long tip. But when I compared them side by side the tips were the same length. Meaning they could reach into the same depth hole and write. Now I just need to keep track of these so I can find the right one when I need it. It's nice that there are 2 of each color so I can split them and have them in 2 different places.

These were for marking hole locations and cut lines in places a normal Sharpie will not reach, like inside brackets, tubing, and tight corners. I do a lot of small fab and wood projects and it is always annoying trying to mark through a drilled hole or behind a flange. The long nib style is the whole reason to buy these. The tips are long and skinny enough to reach into recessed holes and still make a clear line. Ink flow has been consistent and it dries fast on metal so it is not smearing everywhere when handling parts. The pack having multiple colors is nice for keeping different marks separate when laying out a few steps at once. In use they have been handy on wood, painted surfaces, and bare steel. The marks stay put and do not wipe off easily once dry. For the price and the amount in the pack, these have been a solid shop consumable.

I am honestly obsessed with these markers. They do exactly what they are supposed to do and then some. The long deep reach tip is perfect for getting into tight spaces and holes that regular markers just cannot reach. The ink dries quickly and does not smear which is a huge plus. Once it is down it stays strong and visible even on metal and rough surfaces. The fine tip still gives good control and the markings are clear and precise. These feel well made and durable and they work great for construction projects carpentry and general DIY tasks. Having multiple markers in the set is also very convenient. I will definitely be keeping these in my toolbox

These deep-reach markers work exactly as advertised for marking those hard-to-get spots that a standard pen just can't reach. The 22mm long nib is a great length for construction work, especially when you're trying to mark through thick brackets or deep holes in metal and wood. They are very easy to use, and the quick-dry ink is a nice touch because it doesn't smudge once you've made your mark. The set comes with 12 pens, which is a great value, though I did run into a small quality issue. Unfortunately, I noticed one of the black markers arrived completely dried out and was no good right out of the box. Hopefully, that was just a one-off and the rest of the pack holds up over time. Despite that one dud, the pens that do work are high-quality and function perfectly for carpentry and general construction needs.
