I wish i had this as kitchen tool years ago. Front the first time I used it, grating was easy and very fine. So for ginger especially- which is hard to fine chop, this grater made it so easy, and quick to grate. Very impressed especially since i cook with ginger every week and i don't necessary want the big chucks in my meals. The grater does a awesome job of giving me fine finished grated nuts, cheese, ginger, garlic, chocolate and other items that I don't want to throw into a large chopper when i only need one of clove grated.The cleanup is easy and it also comes with a little cleaning brush that help to get any residuals out of the grater. Once you are done washing and its dry - you can place the cover to keep is in your kitchen drawer. I was also able to use the cover while grating which allowed me to grate my small ginger and garlic pieces without my fingers touching the grating surface. It provides safety for your hands when grating some pieces.Bottom line - easy to grate fine on even small pieces, easy to clean, small and compact, easy storage and safety with a cover.

This is the sharpest and most effective zester and grater I have ever used. It's sturdy and well-made. The Little brush that's included helps a lot with cleaning and saves my sponge. However, although it grates Parmesan cheese very well, it's a little narrow for the task. I buy large triangular chunks of cheese. If I hold the end of the greater to the counter and move the cheese back and forth it wobbles a bit. If I hold the cheese down on the counter and move the greater back and forth with my other hand it works but it would be a lot more efficient if the tool was twice as wide. Protesting citrus, there's nothing better.

My wife and I have tried some of these home meal delivery kits and a number of their dishes call for lemon zest. My wife got me the grater/zester as a gift and it has worked perfectly. The little "blades" are nice and sharp and they easily zest the lemons. The handle is comfortable and the blade guard (for storage) is a very nice refinement because of the sharpness of the blades. The little brush helps remove any stuck on zest. I have not tried it as a cheese grater yet but I expect it will work as well as it did as a zester. I don't know what my wife spent for this but I consider it definitely money well spent.

Quality tool for the kitchen that works really well. Is nice and sharp and is easy to use and clean. Would recommend.

Very sturdy, like the rubber on the bottom end keeps it from slipping. Good overall construction . Good product.

So far I have used this product only once, but it made a great first impression. I could not believe how much easier it was to use (for lemon zesting) than what I had been using before - zero force applied, super quick and great results. It's very easy to wash too. It came with a small plastic brush for cleaning, but I have not felt the need to use it yet. It also comes with a plastic sheath which is useful. Overall very happy with this product

I have been looking for something easier and more efficient to use than the little cocktail zester I've been using for years. I love the design of this zester and the fact that it works like a cheese grater.The quality is great, looks like a name brand product. The handle is a nice grippy material that is comfortable to hold. The end has similar material so the zester doesn't budge while you are grating. I noticed that most of the shavings stayed on the back of the zester, so I scraped them off with a spoon and they easily came off.As with any grating product, I always worry about how easy it is to clean afterwards. Running the zester under the tap for a few seconds cleans almost all of the shavings off immediately. The few bits that were left came off easily running a sponge along the back, and with the grain of the zesting side.This is a great addition to my kitchen utensils and I am not going to shy away from recipes that call for zesting anymore!
