Kindle Format Defective
Firstly: Any student looking for a cheap(er) or easily accessible EBOOK version of this book, your best bet may be directly through the publisher Macmillan. The kindle format of this book appears to be defective. Rather than containing the full text of the work in a digital format, this ebook instead contains links to webpages apparently to access the text online. However, each of these urls - one for each chapter - is broken. The link leads to ‘Springer Link’ (a provider of online access to articles/texts) and a ‘page not found’ message. There is nothing in the page for the kindle version of this book to indicate the specific form of this download, save for the very short print length of *12 pages*. Hearing from the Amazon forums that a book’s digital format is the responsibility of the publisher. I contacted Macmillan and was informed that they only deal with issues with books bought directly from them. I will continue to peruse this matter, as it *seems* that it is the fault of the digital version provided by the publisher and not Amazon. I have included an image of the book’s first chapter as it appeared on my kindle before I returned it for a refund. I am reluctant to post a low-star review for a book I have not been able to read - it is clearly not a judgement on the author or their work - but this seems to be an appropriate way of making this issue freely known to potential buyers.

A brilliant work, which - in every sentence - shows how clarity is revealed within the relation of creative-critical thinking. Katz's insights and purposeful examples enabled me to immediately see where I could vastly improve my work as a post-grad student. The only reason to put it down is because it compels me to start writing.
