SOMNOS Organic Weighted Blanket for Adults with Removable Cover 20 lbs - Feels Like a Hug - Hypoallergenic, Weighted Blanket with Fine Glass-Sand

This blanket feels less like a weighted blanket and more like a regular blanket. The filling inside shifts around noisily. I have never had such a noisy weighted blanket. It was also VERY hot. I'm normally a cold person, but this was too much, even for me. The only positive for me was the cover. It is very soft. Too bad the rest of the blanket didn't live up to the description.

I love this blanket. It is wonderful for calming down when you're anxious, it helps with my chronic pain, too. Whenever I hurt, I curl up under my blanket. I've been sleeping under it, too. The 20lb blanket IS heavy, but it isn't hot, which is wonderful. If you follow the instructions about picking a weight, you should be just fine.I have slept better in the week I have had this than in years. Get it. So worth it.

This blanket is having a surprisingly good effect on my sleep. I’m falling asleep more easily, but more impressively I’m STAYING asleep. I feel less jittery/anxious with this blanket.I appreciate the soft, washable, full-zip cover and find it does a great job of protecting my blanket. I did get some very minor pilling where the cover rubs against another linen duvet, but nowhere else.I’m 5’ tall and bought the smaller nap blanket. The weight is more than 10% of my body weight, but I find it extremely soothing. (Especially when I tuck it around myself, leaving just my feet exposed so I don’t get too warm.)I looked at A LOT of weighted blankets and am very satisfied with this one. It has all the features that were important to me (glass “sand” instead of clunky beads, sturdy and washable cover that doesn’t let the blanket slide into one spot, neutral design, organic fabric... it even came with a protective cotton bag for storage.)I’ve recommended this blanket to friends, family and a few co-workers. I recommend it to anyone considering a weighted blanket. I may upgrade to a weighted comforter through Somnos, because my husband loves the blanket too.For size reference, I “make” my bed with the nap blanket sideways on a Queen bed. I have the duvet on top of it.I’m glad I invested in this blanket and my sleep. It was worth it.

I purchased this blanket after purchasing one of the SOMNOS weighted comforters as a gift for a relative. The ability to remove the cover and wash (as compared to competitors) is a big advantage to me as it means less wear and tear on both the blanket and washing machines. Additionally, the internal snaps keeping corners in place is great. The blanket breaths, is not noisy for being filled with small glass beads, and so far is holding up well. The cover itself is starting to show some signs of fabric snags or pulls, but i suspect that would happen to any soft cover such as this. Normal wear and tear. I hope SOMNOS makes the cover available as an accessory in the future. Overall, it's a good quality product as you'd expect with the premium you pay for it.

This is a gorgeous blanket...beautifully made and nice to look at. The white is just right...not too bright or creamy. It came nicely wrapped in its own cloth bag. I need some weight on me when I sleep. I was hoping that the weighted blanket concept would be just what I needed to get a good night's sleep but it's just too heavy for me. I will keep looking.

The first thing I noticed was the incredible softness of the blanket. Amazingly soft and very well made. The blanket conformed to my shape; it was like being tucked in by am expert tucker. I felt pampered!! The blanket took me to a meditative type of calm. It was the best nights sleep I have had in a long time. I have a horrible time sleeping and am actually looking forward to snuggling with my Somnos tonight!!! Do yourself a favor and get one!!!

This has a soft covering and the weight distributes evenly. I bought this to help with sleeping during the day when I have to work nights and it seems to help. I woke up much less frequently and had an easier time falling back asleep. The only downside is that it is very warm, so if you like to sleep cool beware.

I LOVE my weighted blanket. I am sleeping a whole lot better than pre-blanket. I would have given it 5 stars, but after the first washing, the cover was all shredded on the inside. I emailed the company and they offered a full refund. I would have rather been sent a new cover. I also wish they offered other colours. I have dogs and the cover was stained after a week. It is kind of a pain to but the blanket back in the cover also.

This comforter is a miracle to me. Good sleep is price-less, so the value of this fabulous Somnos is a bargain. The included cover is so soft and comfortable, it adds more joy to the Somnos and its user. My mother was convinced she wants it after a minute under my Somnos. She said I want to stay here forever, underneath this Somnos. The Somnos-team created the Somnos with the use of science, so it can not be compared to regular weighted comforters. The Somnos keeps you in a perfect temperature, amazing. Not hot nor cold. How? The Somnos-team created a sleep-benefit miracle. The Somnos decreases my pain, it gives a real relaxed feeling and prevent nightmares. Another benefit of the Somnos is that it stays in place, you will be covered all night long. When I wake-up real refreshed, I roll my Somos to my feet. When I go to sleep I roll it back. I did not find anything negative. But I keep searching. ;-)I want to add some experience to this Somnos, the cover is sooooo soft, it gives a feeling of an extra soft hug. I really, really am deeply in love with this Somnos. With the cover it's fabulous and warm, without the cover anmd a sheet it is cool, for the summer?

Love this blanket! I have never had trouble falling asleep, but I get anxious about work matters and don’t feel rested or like I have had a deep sleep when I get up in the morning. This blanket has honestly helped me and I feel that it was worth every penny!

Not 130cm wide as advertised, but barely 120cm when I measured it. If you are looking to share this with a sleeping partner you may want to get two, or get a different make that is a little wider.Length seems OK though.Cover feels like it might get rough with age, but I haven't had it long enough to tell.

I definitely sleep better it is heavy but I like this aspect
