Cora 100% Organic Cotton Non-Applicator Tampons (36 Super Tampons)

These are the best non applicator tampons I can find and they are getting harder and harder to find! Cora - don’t stop making these but stop raising the price!

One of my favorite tampon brands! I was so happy to see that the non-applicator ones were available!

I wish I could find something that's as effective as conventional, questionable chemical-filled tampons (ie: OB) but out of all of the brands of more natural tampons that I've tried, these were the most absorbent yet. It seems like every other one that I've tried (and I've probably tried WELL OVER half a dozen other brands) leaked very quickly, despite not being, um, "filled"(?)... These weren't nearly as stiff feeling as some others too, and were very soft.

I am not a fan of those tampons that expand like sting Ray wings. It feels too bulky. But often these smaller non applicator ones must be changed every hour on heavy days, and leak pretty easily. I find these to leak less, and have a good amount of absorption. They are also initially a little less soft, which I find makes it easier for initial application (without being rough).

These are my go to favorites! They don't have applicators, but let me tell you, once you figure out applicator-less, you'll never go back. I cringe to use applicators now. I love Cora because they're organic and very comfortable. The wrapper is mostly clear, but it is plastic. I wish they'd switch to a flushable/compostable vegetable cellulose wrapper, but that's my only gripe.

For some reason my old standby, O.B. tampons, especially super absorbency, have become difficult to find in the stores, and I'm so pleased to find these organic tampons that are an even better substitute. They do the job well and I appreciate the lack of wasteful packaging / applicator. If you prefer a longer Tampax-style tampon, you won't like these. For my body, these are great and reliable.

With the recent insanity that came out about most tampon brands having lead, and other heavy metals and toxins, I hope Cora never sells out and stays true to their brand. I feel so much relief knowing their products are actually safe and will keeping buying unless reported otherwise.
