Springy insole helps balance you.
I have a 3cm difference between both legs so this insole balanced me up well. Takes a bit of getting used to, need to walk around a bit. If you have a high instep, you may need to go up a size to accommodate it.

Sorted out my problem
I had a new pair of walking boots and they dug in at the ankle - having looked at ways to solve the problem I put a rolled up sock in the heels and it worked - no more rubbing, but this wasn't a long term solution so I found these and bought a pair of 1.5cm and they work perfect. Lovely and comfortable - they raise my heels just enough to the top of the boots miss my ankles. Would buy again next time although they look like they will last a long time.

Like walking on a tennis ball.
They fit perfectly into the shoe. But there is no rigidity to the heel edge. Meaning your heel squishes down the end of the insole raising the the rest into your sole that’s not used load bearing making these incredibly uncomfortable and unusable. Plus normal shoes will fall off as your heal is half out the shoe. I only got as an experiment as in 6ft anyway glad I wasn’t hoping these would be a confidence boost and ruin my feet through desperation.

Great little confidence boost!
Great little confidence boost! When cut properly they fit great. Worn all day to a wedding to balance out the height in photos when partner had heels. They did feel quite tight around the middle of the foot due to the inside height of the shoe I wore, and by the end of the day my feet were aching quite a bit. But this was with brand new hard leather shoes, so mileage will vary, but they did fit, and did the job well.

Good for plantar tendon problems.
I bought these back in October as I suffer from planter fasciitis and plantar fibromatosis and the podiatrist suggested work boots with a higher heel as I do a lot of walking at work. Not an easy thing to find. So I gave these a whirl and have found I seldom have to take pain killers for my feet now. I would suggest going half a size bigger in shoes with them.
