Top notch show with good animation.
I bought this dvd set because of the low sale price. It is a great addition to my collection. The stories were good and the animation is excellent.

Superman animated series blu-ray is actually very good!
If you enjoyed the Batman: the Animated Series cartoon, then you will probably also like this cartoon series as well. This Superman: the Animated Series came out when the Batman animated series was in season 3 and had the animation style change (which a lot of people didn't care for). I actually enjoyed the change of pace, and enjoyed the new Robin (Tim Drake) and darker tone of the final season. Anyways, This show's animation style is the same, and the cool things was the crossover of some Gotham villains and Batman cameos (with the Batman/Superman animated movie featuring prominently). That movie was actually just a few of the Superman animated series' episodes strung together for a separate release. It was cool to see the two powerhouses of DC be on screen together in animation, and this was really the beginning of the much larger crossover universe that DC has become known for and Marvel took a page from for their live action movies. This show has 3 seasons, with a wide variety of villains, many challenges for Clark/Kal-El/Superman to face, and it actually makes Clark a likeable and interesting main character, which has always been difficult for writers of the Man of Steel.

The series to show Superman non-believers
I remembered watching the Justice League animated series back then and felt like there was something more to Superman, and it wasn't until now that I realized this series is something worth re-watching because it stands on its own, introduces many concepts for JL, and it portrays the humanity of Superman that even I didn't realize was possible.

DVD version isn't that great on PC,but workable on TV
The inner material looked like it was wiped down with something from the inside, but all the discs work. The box it came in looked a little rough around the edges, but ultimately the cds were in tact. If you have a decent smart TV it looks nicer, but the Batman BluRay I bought from the same seller is far superior in terms of what you actually get, including the video quality. I wish I had waited a bit more to just spend a few extra 9 dollars to buy the Blu Ray version instead while it's on sale. The DVD version seems pretty bare bones in comparison. That being said, they were not playing around when they said my delivery estimated time would be the day after I ordered it. Kudos.(Editing since I finished the series) That being said, the series is great.Superman TAS is the shortest out of the Animated Series gallery (Justice League and Batman TAS,for example, are the longest series from the 90s out of all three), so you will probably easily burn through them. Superman/Clark Kent does shine in this series in terms of personality and backstory, and there are a lot of Justice League characters in it. On the plus side, you get the Batman/Superman "movie" included in the form of two-part episodes. There's a very small dullness somewhere near the end of the final season because they were obviously trying to usher in new characters in hopes of a few spin offs (some that never made it to the next season or don't exist at all), but it redeems itself with the final showdown between Superman and Darkseid. I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bathwater and pass up this collection over a few episodes I didn't care for.My small gripe with it,is that the subtitles for English only remain English until maybe a few discs in,then it defaults to French or Spanish. I don't know if the BluRay version fixes this.If you like Superman, even a little bit--this is for you in terms of series. If you LOVE Superman, you probably already bought it or need to buy it again.

Superman: The Animated Series Blu Ray
I'm very happy with the quality. Very nice packaging and the picture quality is amazing. Mine came with nice slipcover. All episodes included and the bonus features are very cool. If you ever love this show back when it aired, this is a dream package. Get it. Digital code doesn't work, sucks.

SUPREMELY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Used to watch this cartoon series as a kid. Back then I had fun, but didn't enjoy nor appreciate it as much as Batman's. Things have completely changed these days. Sometimes I even think Supes is a far better character, although my love for Batman & some of his bat-family remains too strong. Kinda wish this show lasted longer than it did, but what got produced is overall extremely good. High recommendation on my end ladies and gents.

DCAU Superman is a classic Superman(far better than anything Snyder!)
One of the earliest staples of my childhood cartoons, Superman:TAS is definitely a worthwhile addition to any DC fans movie and series shelves. With some surprisingly dark episodes(first onscreen death in DCAU wasn't done by the Joker? GASP!), a great list of villains(including Toyman, Parasite, Lobo, Livewire, Brainiac, Darkseid and obviously Lex Luthor)and introducing several heroes to the DC Universe(including Lois Lane, Jimmy Olson, Lana Lang, the Legion of Superheroes, Supergirl and Orion)and see the early origins of the Justice League with "Worlds Finest", the two parter pairing of Batman and Superman!

Calidad con una gran serie
No llega a la altura de la serie animada de Batman pero está muy cerca. La edición del bluray viene con audio latino y subtitulos igualmente en todos los documentales.Una buena edición para el mejor superhéroe.
