Marvel Captain Marvel 6-inch Legends Captain in Costume Figure for Collectors, Kids, and Fans

On March 8th, 2019 Captain Marvel (starring Brie Larson) makes her film debut. Being hailed as possibly the most powerful hero in the MCU, we know she will have a part to play in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame and will likely be a key player in stopping Thanos. The initial Marvel Legends action figure of her stands a little under 6 inches. She is scaled well and should nicely fit in with the rest of your collection. She is made of a nice, durable, rubbery type of plastic and should stand up very well to normal play if you're getting this for your child. She comes with two sets of hands, one set is open and the other set are closed, and two different heads - one is masked and has kind of a wild mohawk, and the other is unmasked and has the likeness of actress Brie Larson. This figure does utilize the new facial scan technology where the face of the actor or actress is digitally printed onto the toy and it is amazing. They even have the tiny mole under Larson's left eye! Captain Marvel sports 18 points of articulation. She has a ball jointed head, but her unmasked head does limit the range of the joint due to her hair sculpt. She has ball jointed shoulders, peg jointed elbows, peg jointed wrists, an abdomen joint, ball jointed hips, a mid thigh swivel, double jointed knees, and rocker joints in her ankles. She does not have a waist pivot or a bicep swivel. The paint application is incredible and feels like something you would get on a high end figure. The colors are rich and deep with no slop what so ever. They pay attention to every little detail, even managing to paint the tiny gold accents on her uniform. Since her movie uniform so closely mirrors her comic uniform, you could easily have this figure be your default Captain Marvel in your collection. Carol Danvers has been around since 1968, and it's great that she finally has a chance to shine on screen and this action figure is a superb way to capitalize on the early excitement surrounding her film debut. I definitely recommend this figure! Well worth the price.

As a big fan of Captain Marvel, the figure had me all sorts of excited. Although it took Amazon a while to get me my figure, it was well worth the wait. She’s very poseable and looks awesome. She comes with extra hands and an extra head. I don’t think the face looks 100% like Brie Larson, but it’s passable and looks fine. I enjoy standing her next to the Nick Fury from this set, and the Avengers from various others. This is a must-have for any MCU collector wishing to finish up their team, and for fans of the character herself!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to deliver more movies into theaters as Captain Marvel launches with Hasbro bringing new action figures in its Marvel Legends series of action figures. Having seen the movie, I had to admit I was somewhat disappointed, wanting it so badly to be as good as DC’s Wonder Woman. If there is anything I do like about the movie is that its character is a mighty hero with great power who plays their part against challenging foes. One who’ll come to call in the aftermath of Avengers Infinity War. Having been released in two versions, Captain Marvel and Kree Starforce agent Vers. This figure is Captain Marvel, as her outfit is a red, blue and gold version of her Starforce outfit. Nice looking and resembling Brie Larson from the mole under her left eye to her flat butt. The figure includes an alternate head that she wears in the film’s climax as well as alternate hands. Standing at 5.50 inches and with the typical articulation of most female Marvel Legends figures. The figure has no other accessories. Not a bad figure but I want the figures from Avengers Endgame to arrive soon.

Great figure, the poportions are great and the face sculpt/print is great! Her accessories are great, but she should’ve come with more, like maybe fire blasts and her cat goose. I know that those are included in the other Captain Marvel figures, but it’s a big inconvenience to have to buy the same figure multiple times.
