I just LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! this fountain... it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Yes, it does leak at first but there is a simple, easy, quick fix... gotta give credit to the hubby for figuring out this one!. 1. First, assemble the fountain. 2. You will notice a cable (it's the power cable for the pump AND the LED light) and it passes thru this tube like thingy. 3. Use silicone sealant or RTV to seal the area of this tube where the cable passes thru it. THAT'S IT!! that bad boy works like a dream now and NO leaks!! I've had it for a couple months and am VERY PLEASED! I get lots of compliments as well. I'm gonna also suggest you purchase an Algaecide Clarifier (bought something called Fountec). You only use a drop and it keeps away the algae... I use it on all my fountains. I used it on this one as the round globe ball started getting a little slimy but now it never gets slimy anymore. The Dark Sphere color is really nice as well... mine is black and was true to the picture. BTW - Lamps Plus customer service is the BOMB! They are sooooo nice there. Very helpful folks! I bought this fountain 2 years ago and as soon as I assembled it, It leaked. Instead of returning it, because I liked how it looked so much, I put some silicone sealant inside the fountain around the area where the electrical cord comes in to power the pump and light. It has worked great ever since - no leaks! Now, after 2 years the pump needs to be replaced - something I expected because fountain pumps never last that long. I plan on buying a new pump. Still love the fountain.

This is a great fountain, especially for the price. I was initially disappointed that it wasn't bigger, but the longer I have it the more that I realize it is the perfect size for my small patio. I would recommend this for anyone wishing to add an inexpensive fountain that looks wonderful and works great.

I wanted to like this. It isn’t very loud at all, couldn’t really hear it but it looked great on our patio especially at night. But I couldn’t tell it was leaking at first, then more and more water started to leak from underneath. I was adding water twice a day, what’s the point of having to do that? Should have listened to the other reviews! A lot of money to waste. I’m waiting for a seller response so I’ll update when they do but having to find a box to try and ship this leaking fountain back to California from NY will be unacceptable. When you buy an item you expect it not to be defective (especially when other customers have notified you of the issue) so I didn’t save the box and all of the styrofoam. I’m hoping they’ll stand behind what they sold and offer an acceptable solution. Looks great and modern but please just skip this fountain. Update: Still SKIP THIS FOUNTAIN. I did have to take it apart (make sure all water was dried out of each component-yes it leaks but still pumped some water), find a box it would fit in, and gather odds and ends to use as packing materials to ship this back to California. It was a month process from packing and shipping back before I received my money back.

It’s a nice looking fountain but, it leaked all over the floor. I had put silicone sealant around the light. A lot easier than boxing it up to return it. I saw other reviews about it leaking, probably the same issue.

Very nice bubbler. The bubbling brook water sound is just sooo soothing. The pump is very quiet. We don't hear it at all. Here's a tip, though--how to fix a design issue that the designers left unsolved. In the first few days that we had the fountain, the water level was very erratic. Often the water sloshed over the side for seemingly no reason. At one point we even thought it had a leak. However, it turns out that the sphere is a sealed system. Barometric pressure changes, the outside temperature and even the cooling effect of the water evaporating as it flows over the sphere all affect how much the air sealed within the sphere pushes and pulls on the water below. The answer is to tape the end of a small length of clear plastic tubing up inside the sphere and then run the other end under the rim of the sphere and up over the edge of the fountain. This equalizes the air pressure within the sphere to the outside environment. Now our fountain is perfectly civil with no more strange spills, etc. We really love it, though the tubing does make it look like we turned the fountain into a still of some sort!

Beautiful lightweight piece! Sleek and elegant. Can't hear the motor at all. Water pouring us not very loud! I get compliments on this fountain all the time. With stands high temperature and doesn't lose color. Has to be filled daily for me seeing how it sits at the front of the house in high heat!

This fountain had a leak from the factory; the rubber seal for the power wire inside allowed water to pass through. The vendor was very nice and offered to replace it, but I fixed it with some silicone caulking. The sound is pleasant, it works as it should, keep it nice and level so the water streams down on the whole sphere. I would give five stars, but the leak cost them one star.

I live in a townhome with a small backyard which is fenced in with pvc fences. This water fountain is in my backyard standing on the landing of stairs leading down to the backyard. The gentle trickling sound can be heard inside my home as well as in my backyard. Very enjoyable! The fountain looks elegant and works smoothly. The sound of the pump cannot be heard. This fountain is just perfect for this type of setting. Tried three other fountains, none of them worked for me. One was too loud, the second the pump did not work and the third could hardly be heard in my setting. Finally found one that I am very happy with.

I was a little worried after reading a few reviews but there was no need. The product does not leak and works very well. We turn it on every every, rain or shine. It is beautiful and was very easy to assemble. It only took a few Minutes. The size is perfect for a backyard. It looks great, works really well. Everyone who sees it , loves it. Creates a calming, zen mood. I highly recommend this product.

The colour is good, the top is more bronze than black but it looks fine. This is a very quiet fountain.

Great addition to our front entrance, even had amazon delivery person leave a note that they loved it!
