Good favor
If you're looking for a strong cranberry flavor this is the one for you.. I add 2 tablespoons to a tall glass of water And it's still very strong. It's a really good cranberry concentrate flavor with a strong cranberry kick which I like. My order got misplaced and the company was very easy to work with and revolved the issue immediately. I think this is a good product for the price that you're going to pay and not find too much of a better price. Will definitely continue to do business in the future.

Good juice, but
It’s good juice, but a question most people have about concentrated juices is “How concentrated are they. How much water reconstitutes it to a natural full strength. This company weasels around that issue by saying ‘Add two tablespoons to some water’.How much water? They are trying to avoid saying, anywhere on the label, how concentrated the juice is. It is much more watery than concentrates of other juices that are 8/1, a quart making two gallons, so it is probably much less than that. Also, cranberry juice sold by Oceanspray is 27% cranberry juice, so most people probably think the concentrate is stronger than it is, if they estimate by taste after mixing it with water.A good product but why don’t they put the obvious information most people want on the label? How concentrated is it?A suggestion for the label“1 quart reconstituted to full natural strength makes x quarts. Full strength cranberry juice is too tart for most people. 1 tablespoon to x ounces will reconstitute to the strength of most cranberry juice cocktails.”

Dispensing Closure upgraded
Wonderful product real deal and good value. I read studies disclosing the huge brain benefits of the underdog's in the berry world. It gave good scientific evidence of blueberry & cranberry in combination for brain health. I found it so interesting since I have had a craving or this combo for years. I eat frozen raw cranberries w/ other berries like blueberries , mostly raspberry as the 2 have similar zingyness . Frozen raw cranberries are great in oatmeal too. The freezing action is similar to what cooking does breaking the cell walls inside. With the exception that freezing does not make them more bitter/sour like heating can at certain temperatures.Dispensing concentrate this from the regular bottle opening is not smart.... a pump is messy, I found the proper size spout and cut tip leaving small spout opening and replaced cap ( after wiping clean if needed) works very well. I think this would be a simple but invaluable closure change for the company or an "optional addition" if requested for fruit fast consumers.

What cranberry juice is supposed to taste like
I've been buying Brownwood Acres juice concentrates for years and haven't been disappointed yet. I find the cranberry especially versatile in that it blends so well with other flavors: raspberry, blueberry, black currant, mango, orange, and so on. Years ago a certain manufacturer produced a cranberry-apricot beverage that was one of my great delights in life, and then promptly discontinued it. Now I can enjoy it again by soaking dried apricots in water, juicing or blending them thoroughly, and mixing the results with appropriately diluted cranberry concentrate. Much better than the original, especially if you can track down tasty Blenheim apricots (tarter, stronger flavor). When it comes to sweetening cranberry-based beverages, stevia seems to go reasonably well, but so does apple or pear juice (preferably concentrated). If you're concerned about using up this much concentrate, I should add that the shelf-life of this stuff is phenomenal. I'm careful about "use-by" dates, but I've never had any of Brownwood's juice concentrates have the slightest hint of off-flavors, fermentation, mold, etc. after opening. Very nice, and more economical than buying smaller bottles of concentrate at a retail store.

Max potency! Saves a lot of money.
So this stuff appears expensive at first but once you realize its PURE concentrate, you're basically buying 8 GALLONS of juice. Very high bang/buck. I make my own cranberry juice cocktails with a quart of water, 2tbsp of Fruitfast and 3/4 cup of turbanado sugar. I may also add grape juice or pomegranate or whatever other juice is available for a nice cost efficient, nutritious, yummy beverage. Or add just a splash to a pitcher of bubbly and oj for a really killer mimosa. This stuff also does wonders for the kidneys.
