Yes, these shoes are heavier than a pair of lightweight ultra minimal shoes, but my feet feel fine at the end of the day and don’t ache. That’s the point of a hiking shoe so I’m ok paying a slight weight penalty. Seem durable, had for 6 months and are just fine.
