Most of the other answers are not, in that they suggest you to change filters AFTER you have detected something wrong at the output. Well, by that time, your RO membrane is kaput - no good any more. RO membranes are very sensitive to chlorine; so you must change your 3 front-line filters (1 sediment and 2 carbon) before they start to leak chlorine to the membrane. Doing so will prolong your membrane's life for many years.
