At first I plugged in my iPhone and then HDMI from the TV and this did not even show up as a device on the TV and I was pretty pissed. I expected it be simple plug and play. The seller reached out and explained to me how it works and told me that it needs to be plugged in to a power outlet for it to work. Once I had that figured out, it was really simple. I can connect my mobile to my computer or to my big TV and see even a movie or playing a game.Really like it!

Well made, my family are very happy we have it. We have a lot of fun when we play the sources from our IPhone on the TV through the adapter. Every family should have one.

Doesn’t really work with Netflix. All I get is sound and a blank screen. Needs a power supply unlike Apple’s connector.

I made an mistake when I used this lightning to HDMI to adapter in the beginning: I didn’t plug my iPad. I got help from the seller very soon when they got my email. My grandpa is enjoying while we sharing the old family pictures from the iPad. The lightning to HDMI adapter is not just transmit the pictures, it is also passing our happiness. I love my grandpa, I love the lightning to HDMI adapter too.

I'm returning this item. It didn't work right out of the box. Suspected it was a dud, and purchased genuine apple adapter... and surprise, it worked. You can even tell when holding them both that the Apple product is more substantial and likely has proper solders/etc inside the housing. Just spring for the real thing in this case.

This product is for connecting an I-Phone to a display through HDMI, yet doesn’t work for nearly every mainstream video app that a normal person would use. Its made to look exactly like the official Apple version, just with 1/100th the functionality. Its kind of like, if this product was a cellphone, they'd be like, “Buy our awesome ripoff cellphone! It doesnt make calls, send texts, or connect to the internet, but the LED flashlight works great!!!*(*using LED flashlight might cause cancer)” this product doesnt cost $20, it costs $70... $20 for the ripoff, and then another $50 for the one that actually works, assuming you dont get stuck with extra return shipping costs.

I wanted to use this to project to my tv, but it does nothing. I have kept trying, thinking it was somdething I was doing, but then we tried it on someone else's ipad and phone and nothing. I'm super busy as a teacher and missed the deadline to get it returned, so, I have no adapter and no money!

I already have an Apple adapter to hook up my ipad to stream through my tv but I needed another one. I figured I would just purchase a cheaper version and it would do the same thing. NOPE!!! I am tech savvy and know different ways to hook up electronics and this adapter is garbage and a waste of money.
