I like very much that there is a button which let's you open or close the camera. Also helpful are the 6 different light intensities and the clip so it can be clipped to a book and be mounted farther away from the desk.

Webcam with built-in light that works well. The lighting is even, easy to adjust, and useful for everyday video calls.

I picked up this 2K Webcam with Light, HD Webcam for PC with Built-in Privacy Cover from Camii a couple months ago as my wife works remote and I do lots of videos. The webcam works great and has good picture and mic quality. It is truly plug and play!! Her main webcam stopped working right in the middle of a meeting marathon day, and I was able to plug this one in and she was up again in less than 5 minutes. The one thing that she doesn't like is that there's no ability to zoom in or out. If this isn't important to you, then this camera is definitely a go!

I regularly have to appear by webcam for meetings. After many years of service, my trusty old logitech started to have connectivity issues. So now I have this as my webcam, and I am very happy about it. I ordered the 2K webcam, and it has some very nice features. In addition to the little light notifying you that it is operational, it has a manual shutter to physically block access. I love this, as it gives me a little more piece of mind if I keep it plugged in. The light ring is something my last cam lacked, and I very much like this as well. It has two color temperatures, warm and cold, with three levels of intensity for each. The inclusion of a little tripod and a USB-C adapter adds to the versatility. Importantly, the cable is much more robust on this device than on my old webcam, and I have high hopes for its longevity. In terms of operation, it has been flawless thus far. Both my laptop and desktop computers recognized it immediately, and that is pretty much all I need. I recommend this full-featured webcam without reservation. It really is a fine product.

I got this so I wouldn't have to open my laptop every time I had to join a work call (I work off of 2 large monitors that my laptop docks to and opening my laptop rearranged all of my programs every time). It works great - you can easily clip it to the top of your screen or use the little tripod legs to stand it up (which is what I do). The cord is long enough to be able to find somewhere accessible to place it, and it hinges on the stand so you can find a good angle for you as well. I appreciate that you just plug this in and it works without having to download an app or software online, because my company has insane firewalls and it's impossible to download anything easily, so I was still able to use this for work. It has 6 different light/brightness settings which are really nice (though be aware, people can see the ring reflection in your eyes so you might get called out for being an influencer LOL). The microphone seems to work well - I accidentally used it when I couldn't get my earbuds to connect and everyone said they could hear me clearly.

I love this option for a camera that isn't the one built into my laptop. Due to my setup, it always looked like I was looking up, above the screen. I wanted to get a camera to place on my second screen so when I am on video calls it actually looks like I'm looking at the screen. This was SO easy to use, it takes about a minute to get set up. And, I love that fact that is has a privacy screen built into it so I can ensure it's off when I'm not on a meeting. Oh, the other cool part is that it has a light built in (you don't have to use it, but you can). Overall, this is a great not too expensive option to add an extra camera that works well for everyday use, which is mainly meet and zoom meetings for me.

The ring light will show up if you use it in the camera as a fuzz around the image, so that is kind of pointless now unless you want a free visual effect. The quality is okay but honestly don't see the 2k resolution, it is worse than my 1080 webcam. If you are on a budget... it is okay, but I would look elsewhere honestly.

Very nice webcam, and I like the built-in light UPDATE: After about ten uses, the camera has died.
