Also, one thing we didn't know is that both bottles empty at the same rate, so both become empty at the same time. **Q: On a sing installation, is the pump activated?** A: For this model, it is designed for two bottles' use. If you want to use it for single bottle temporarilly, it can be workable but the suction end of the outer wand without float sensor needs to be plugged up. Only the mid (inner) suction wand is with float sensor. **Q: Can this pump 60ft from a basement?** A: Yes, you can put the pump in a basement.
