Good alternative to traditional wound pads
I ordered this item twice for my post-surgical incision care. These pads are a shiny, plastic-y material which are more comfortable than your traditional wound pads. These are more expensive than your traditional pads and on the smaller side, but they were much more comfortable on my skin and produced less heat. There is no adhesive material but the plastic naturally sticks to your skin a bit more. The first time I ordered this item, the box came shrink-wrapped. The second time, the box was open. I did contact Amazon and they were quick to replace the product.

Genuine Individually Wrapped plain sterile non-stick padss
They arrived quickly and nicely boxed by UPS. These are genuine Coviden Telfa non stick pads 3x8. However, I thought I had ordered the Coviden Telfa AMD antimicrobial 3x8 pads. These are not. I will use these, but still I am trying to find and order the Telfa AMD Antimicrobial types. They are much harder to find.

It gets the job done
These are an odd size and are thin. They are not the best product I have ever used, but they get the job done. I cut them in half so I can get 2 days out of 1 pad which is like having 100 pads. All the other telfa products cost so much more that I decided to try this one. I did find when I cut them the telfa comes loose and can roll up. However, I still found this product meets my needs and costs much less than the others. I am happy with my choice and well worth it.

Sticks to surgical glue
I bought these to use over surgical glue but they do stick a lot. However on open areas without the glue they are great.

Sterile packed, exact hospital brand product.
I work in an OR - this product I purchased for personal use, as I’m getting a tattoo removed and need to cover it regularly after a removal session. It’s not meant to be absorbent, but rather have a semi-permeable thickness coating that keeps the gunk/ointment/what have you on the affected area. For performance, it does its job. It’s the exact brand you would be given in most hospitals and the quantity and value for the price is not bad at all.

Really good non-adherent pads
Unfortunately I sustained a burn extending from the top of my foot up and along the side of my shin to just below my knee. The burn clinic told me to order these specific brand pads, so I found them on amazon because we are currently sheltered in place. When I received the pads in the mail they were all individually wrapped and sealed in the box. They are quite large. It was easy to unwrap them and they were also easily cut with scissors. Even when I cut the pads they held up just the same as a full size pad. I used 3M Micropore surgical tape to adhere the pads over my large burn area. My routine was to clean the area, spread a thick layer of prescription burn cream and then cover with these Covidien non-adherent pads and secure with the tape. I could then go a few days and the pads and tape would still be secured in good fashion without any type of adherence to the wound until I was ready to clean it and re-wrap it up again. I highly recommend these pads. I will definitely be stocking these pads in case of an emergency next time.

Telfa is the Winner
I am a nurse/caregiver and I use non stick pads on my patient every day. I have used Covidien Telfa for a long time. I love that the box becomes a convenient container. The individual pads are easy to open with the split paper top. Perfect if you have on gloves or ointment on your hands. The actual pads are soft enough not to irritate your skin but stiff enough to keep their shape and not fall apart the way the Curad pads did. They’re absorbent enough without pulling all the meds off the skin. They cost a dollar or 2 more, but it was well worth it because with the Curad, I had to keep replacing them because they’re too soft and kept rolling up and losing their shape, after a day.
