Is there a better way to mount this light on a bike? I rode it for 3 miles today, light kept shifting down.

Man, I've road many miles with mine on a MTB down black diamond trails and it stays pretty well fixed! Maybe your handlebars are a different size, or you're more insane biker than me! Well, that's actually all besides the point. Look on Lezyne's website and search for "LED Handlebar Mount Adapter." You can remove the rubber strap/screw and use that mount instead. Cheers.

Is there any difference between the three colors other than looks? Why is one $11 cheaper than the others?

I think look only. I have gloss polish. Sometimes black stuff is cheaper.

Will there be adaptor plate in the kit ? Handle bar mount can only lock into plate but this light does not comes with adaptor plate but rubber strap.
