Versatile iron
This little iron features a thermostat that is remarkably accurate (I measured it!) and the temperature can be adjusted to suit the size of the joints being soldered. I bought this to use with a younger boy who had a clock kit to build. This iron was good for his smaller hand, but I also found it a better iron than either of the two I normally use. I would rate this iron very highly - the tip is easy to clean and tin, the body easy to handle, it heats quickly, the temperature control is good. What is there not to like?

Worked well
Heats up quickly and the adjustable temperature is really useful for different jobs. Comfortable to hold, and the on/off switch makes it safer than basic models. Great little soldering iron for DIY projects

Cheap and handy, but a slight issue....
This was a handy little iron for portability and at this price I was happy enough with it. I decided to put a longer lead on it as it was a little short. I decided to install it in the in-line switch to save any problems but when I opened it I found the cut off was actually on the neutral side of the power (not a good idea). I ended up having to rewire the switch to put it on the live side. Just be careful with cheap items like this. Apart from this, it's a nice little iron.

Excellent
Does as it’s meant to. I bought to make holes in plastic tubs for my arachnids and did the trick beautifully!

Fantastic value!
Bought this as a replacement for a super cheap one I bought I while ago, I have started doing some more detailed soldering work with PCB’s etc. I needed something that actually heated the tip of the soldering iron. Was considering buying a soldering station, but thought I’d give this ago because it’s so cheap, maybe as well give it a try. I am extremely happy with this soldering iron! It heats up quickly, i have it set to 350 C (not measured the temp myself) using the dial. It works brilliantly, melts the solder quickly and consistently. Such a good price for a tool that does exactly what it should!

Poor
Bought a fairly cheap soldering kit a few years back and that soldering iron worked well for a good while, but it stopped getting hot enough for good soldering. So, I figured this'd be a good replacement which would last another 2 or 3 years. Nope. I used it twice in the past week, no longer than 30 minutes overall and now it barely heats up enough to melt solder (flux core). The tip is completely useless, absolutely no heat transfer there.
