Brought two of these collars for our two cats to try as one of our cats had an allergy to flea bites and our flea treatments had seem to stop them from biting.Going to be honest at the price (£7.99) at the time of purchase wasnt sure if they were going to really do anything. As similar collars seemed to be £30 upwards, this really was more of a test to see if the cats got on with collars as they had never worn one before. Before spending a lot of money of other collars it seemed to make sense to try a cheaper one.The Results:I can only say wow!…. Honestly they are so good. There is no over powering smell. The fit is fully adjustable and fit really well on both cats, and the best part…….. they really work!I know! I was shocked tooo. Our cat that has an allergy to flea bites is a different animal. Her skin is better she’s happier more lively better appetite and I haven’t even seen a flea in a week.I am a cat lover and would give my cats anything that wasn’t a Benefit. But when a product works, and it’s great value, well let’s be honest it doesn’t happen very often.Please Amazon never stop selling these collar they are a great product

Great- my cat is permanently flea-free, normally she's riddled!My cat normally can't avoid fleas- she never goes more than 2 metres from the house yet is always riddled with fleas to which she also has a dermatitis-type reaction. These collars last 6+ months and mean she never has fleas, plus in the first week or so you get a lovely waft of lemon-mint citronella from her. It isn't pretty and is a little clunky, but when overall it makes her more comfortable who cares?

Firstly I noticed a very powerful smell of Citronella on the collar, it did take a few minutes to get the collar on my cat, you do need to pull quite a lot to get it through the strap. My cat has been suffering from a flea Allergy for some time now and I have tried every thing on the market. this collar at the moment does seem to be working and her bite marks are healing and she has stopped the scratching. The only issue I have which is why I gave it four stars is no where in the packaging does it state the ingredients which I find strange and wondering if this is legal in the UK. see my photos as either I’m blind because I can’t see any ingredients listed.

I don’t normally write reviews but feel I need to share my experience. I have a 4 month old kitten who didn’t have fleas when I got her but caught them from my older cat. I treated her with pipettes but they didn’t work, in fact she soon became infested. I tried to get a collar from the supermarket but the only one available for a 3 month old kitten was a felt one. I tried it but again had no affect. I then bought a electrical flea comb which worked a treat but they are not suitable to be used on the face, it cleared most of her body but I could see them running round her face. I was at my wits end when I bought this collar. Eureka, within two days she was flea free. I then bought another one for my other cat and two dogs and they worked a treat. Don’t know if the affect will last for 8 months but I am over the moon with these collars

Was very dubious about this. Have battled with fleas for so long. I have tried everything even prescription flea treatment nothing worked. I brought this as a last resort and am completely amazed. It took a while to work but the fleas are finally gone. Will definitely be buying this again. I felt so sorry for my beautiful cat she was scratching non stop, biting herself and jumping all over the place. She looked so anxious and stressed out. I was brushing her every day and removing fleas even though she was on the strongest spot on treatment available. This is a fantastic product and I’m so grateful. My cat is now back to her normal self lazing around and calm.

It is very good but recently our kitten can stretch it herself and get it off but we just put it back in Excellent money and can stretch to fit a kitten to a big cat

I have used a similar product which was more expensive so thought i would try these as the reviews are fairly positive. I have spent about 20 minutes trying to thread the collar through and had great difficulty doing this as it is ridged all the way along so trying to tighten it was impossible on the cat . I took it off and tried doing it off of the cat but had to resort to cutting bits of the rubber to allow the excess collar to go through , but it keeps getting stuck. Therefore, it is not an easy collar to use. I am not sure if i would buy again as it is so hard to use. I have yet to put it on the cat so cannot comment on how effective it is.
