Yet another great Cream Ibiza from Eddie Halliwell. Whilst he still does not produce his own music, he never disappoints when it comes to mixing and his technical skills show through with his typical edits on this album. Would love to see him do some of his own tunes... but despite this he is still the best DJ in the world and will once again get my top vote when that DJ Mag poll comes around!! Recommended!!:)

This was a hell of a mix! I always have to get all of Eddie's Cream: Ibiza mixes and, though I liked LAST years' (with Sander van Doorn,) a BIT better, I must say. Eddie NEVER disappoints! Though I have never been privileged enough to see Eddie Halliwell DJ live, he is my favorite DJ of the new century, without a doubt! The masterful thing about Eddie's sets; the way he constructs, implements, and executes them, is extremely technical and beautiful...they are always an amazing sonic journey for me! Not to mention the fact that a DJ who still 'scratches,' live is a thing of beauty! Eddie has got it all! The 2 Disc mixes like this are always phenomenal because, like any great DJ, he spreads the build over two unique discs with two completely different feels. Always by the end of the first disc, you feel the energy building up to the final track, as if you could imagine yourself in a beach-side club where he has just finished tantalizing your senses on the patio as the sun sets over the ocean, and you feel the music getting ready to make your night totally unforgettable. Then, without warning, without the slightest pause in the music flow, he's inside the club, brutalizing your senses in the best way, making you get up and dance the night away! This is the EXACT feel I get from listening to his sets. And this compilation mix is no different!

maybe I'm getting old or something.... but, whatever happened to club music with lyrics? I guess I've been out of this scene far too long to come back in to it without finding that it doesn't feel right anymore? The discs are good quality so, if you drank a few too many red bulls and, feel the need to shake your thang for a bit to a beat, they'll do the job quite nicely.

Good product for the series -- more or less what I expected.
