Very good product.
Very strong product and reliable however I was expecting a 6 inch clamp but got 3 inch anyhow the product performance is awesome only issue is no home delivery... very disappointing on this point.

RAW, ROUGH but STRONG
My reviews of Taparia 1260-3 80cm C-Clamps. The product I received is very different from the product image. 👎 MAKE- 👎 The product looks like made up of molded cast iron and is unfinished. The look is not very good, very rough and uneven texture. BUILT- 💪 The product is heavy 570 gms (as per the weight is written in the India Speed post label) and looks strong. BLACK PHOSPHATE- 👎 The black coating on the clamp comes out easily when scratched with nails. JAW SIZE- 👍 Maximum jaw opening is approx 8.2 cm SCREW THREAD- 👎 The thread is not ACME. It is a metric thread and is sharp and damaged a bit. But it rotates easily and is without any lubrication. SWIVEL HEAD- 👎 Swivel head on ball end of the operating screw is jammed and doesn't rotate a bit. T LEVER- 👎 2 round appendages are attached on either side of the lever which prevents the lever from coming out of the hole of the screw. ( whereas in the product image the appendages are replaced by extrusion which is more solid). I received my clamp with one of the appendage already fallen apart. HEX HEAD- 👍 There is Hex head at the end of the long screw for tightening with a spanner, which is a good feature. PRICE- The price is less than Stanley. It cost me ₹275.00. 👍 In the attached photos, I have compared TAPARIA clamp and Stanley Clamp. Except for the price, Taparia Clamp is far behind Stanley Clamp. I would suggest everyone add ₹50 more and go for Taparia clamp. I hope the review helps others. 😀😀😀
