To start, it is smaller than a regular pillow so it easily fits inside a regular pillow case and allows enough extra case to stuff into the pillows ear holes. The ear holes (2) are low enough on the pillow to make it easy for my ears to reach the holes and the holes are big enough for my ears. It is roughly shaped like an upside-down butterfly. The pillow is a little shorter and has a little less width, but there is just ample room to comfortably fit my head. It’s not too hard and not too soft; it’s just right. The included pillow case has an ample length zipper making it easy to take off and put back on. The inside is solid foam, not shredded, so it keeps its shape. If you need more height, there are 2 additional pieces of foam to slightly raise the pillow’s height. This is a well-thought-out pillow that should give a better night’s sleep.

This pillow is very comfortable. I am using the soft version with both height inserts, and I find that combination to be soft but supportive with adequate height for side sleeping. This pillow is similar in design to the Womfy, which I used for more than a year, but I think this pillow has a couple of advantages. First, the Womfy was good for side sleeping but not so much for back sleeping. This PureComfort pillow has a very nice cervical support built into the center front of the pillow that makes it comfortable to sleep on your back. Second, the pillow cover on the Womfy was notoriously difficult to get on and off, and it was not machine washable and dryable. The TrueComfort pillow cover has a zipper, which makes it easy to remove, and it is machine washable and dryable. I've only slept on this pillow for a week, so I don't know how it's going to hold up over time, but so far, I'm liking it a lot.

Love this pillow but the supplied cases don't hold up. I finally just put a reg case on it and it works fine

My pillow is less than 5 months old. I have never paid this amount of money for a pillow in my life but I was willing to take the chance since I would wake up several times a night with horrible ear pain. It does exactly what it says it will do but now I can’t use it to sleep on my left side since the pillow split. It hasn’t torn away completely but I am sure if I continue to try to use it on my left side it will. I am not willing to spend the money to buy another pillow and it seems that it should have some sort of guarantee but I can’t find anything online. So, no stars. I would not buy this pillow again and I would not recommend it.

Mine tend to rip and need replacing every couple of months or so, but what are you going to do--I love the pillow and I need a very specific case to cover it with, and this is the only case to be had. So, I guess I am going to try returning them from here on out.

I bought the PureComfort pillow after I was diagnosed with CNH by my dermatologist. I went to see him because I had a lesion on my right ear. He explained it was caused by sleeping on my right side instead of on my back. After I saw the doctor, I went to a medical supply store and the only thing they sold for it was a cheap plastic piece that I had to put on my pillow when I shifted from my back to my side. Not only was that an impossible task, it was highly uncomfortable. Then I found PureComfort pillows on Amazon. I've been using the pillow for almost a year and just purchased an extra pillow case. The bamboo fabric is so soft and now I can alternate pillowcases when I launder them in the washer. Best of all, I've had no further lesions! Thank you, PureComfort!!

I really liked this pillow unfortunately it didn’t last very long. The pillow has split under both ear cups. Didn’t even last 3 months. Pretty expensive pillow to only last that long.

I’m a Side/tummy sleeper, and was looking for a new pillow due to stiff neck pain I was having with my memory foam. After reading the great reviews, I thought I’d try it even though I thought the ear cutouts looked funny, but omg, I had no idea how much they hurt, until they didn’t! I’ve had this pillow for 4-5 months now, and I can honestly say this is the most comfy pillow in my house. My kids & hubby are always “borrowing” it. It also comes with two inserts to adjust the thickness to your liking. Would absolutely buy again!

I Have chn in both ears and in the past I have purchased a pillow from PWAH. It was all that I have been able to purchase for the past 5-years. Since having chn the pillow with a hole flattens within weeks and is not substantial. So when I seen this one by chance. I purchased one. And it is absolutely brilliant. What a great night's sleep. I am having👍😊😴😴😴 I would highly recommend this pillow if you are also a chn sufferer.

I have just received the pillowcase to replace an original one that was getting a little worn. I have to say there is no comparison as to the quality of the replacement. It is very thin and the seams do not seem to be so strong. It’s a shame as the pillow is brilliant and there is no other choice to buy the pillowcase from. I would suggest the price is dropped on this product to reflect the quality.

I love the pillow, it is great for not hurting my ears. However, I wish they made cotton pillow covers. They do not wash very well. After a while holes appear. There is a bit too much extra material in the ear holes, sometimes it hurts my ears.
