stitching doesn't hold up
The bright orange stitching is one of the most attractive elements of this bag. But it doesn't hold up. I use the bag daily for work and have had it for a while. It was purchased directly from the seller's website and not via Amazon. The stitching started showing wear within two months of use. I contacted the seller and they would not replace the bag. Some time later, other areas of stitching has started to come loose and also the canvas has started to wear where the straps/leather/canvas meet. I carry my laptop and notebook in this bag, so no excessive weight.

At first I absolutely LOVED this haversack
At first I absolutely LOVED this haversack, and I still do it's just in the time I've had it a few flaws have come to light. But first the pros: the construction is excellent, all the seams and rivets are perfect and the material is all of the highest quality. It is a perfect haversack for the man (or woman) on the go. Now the cons: the first one I noticed was on the inside zipper pocket mine is missing the leather pull tab which just makes it a little difficult to open and close. A little while later I noticed that on mine the leather straps are not the same length, one is shorter than the other. I am unsure if this is a defect or if it was intentionally designed this way, but I only use the straps when I need the bag to remain closed and secured. Most of the time the buckles are left undone and the only time there is a danger of it spilling or falling over is when it is set down though it has design features to help prevent that from happening. The only other thing isn't really a flaw, barely a nuisance, is the adjustment on the strap has a tendency to slide down when the haversack has a heavy load. I'm sure with time and wearing in it will happen less often and it is a very easy fix. And that's it, everything else is above and beyond fantastic.
