Experienced designers should probably pass this one
I ordered this book from seller Cloudtail India and their packaging wasn't upto the mark. It's an expensive book and it was just put in an amazon plastic bag without any type of cover to protect it. Coming to the book itself, It has quite a lot of information when it comes to fashion details, styles and silhouette but there's no explanation for some of the things. For example they've given a flat for bias cut skirt (I've attached the photo of that) but there's nothing given to explain the 45° grainline cut. Any inexperienced person wouldn't get that. Also, silhouette and line page, A Line and X line silhouette literally looks the same. There's no way you can tell them apart. There are quite a few faults and wrong names given for the styles. I'm a fresher in the industry so I'm finding some things that are new but any experienced designer already knows all this. Might be good for a fashion student. Will give this 3/5.
