Food color does not expire. Our products are at their best within the first 2 years of when they are produced. If the product is stored well (lid on tight, out of direct light, in room temp.), they will be good for several years and not harmful if consumed. Need good reds and pinks...** A: You could make it work, but I wouldn't use it. I would get the electric colors, they true pinks.
