wonderful drain. easy to clean, catches all the hair very effectively. Removing the central cup periodically and cleaning up is normal maintenance step. Nicely designed, Remains untarnished, and good quality steel has been used. I have used this drain in all my bathrooms, and is reasonably priced.

Feels heavy and solid. Would give you the feel that it would last long. Have to wait and see to confirm it is not getting rusted. Auto closing mechanism of the drain gate is good. Looks premium after installation. Overall satisfied with this.

Compared to what is out in the market, this product surpasses design wise, material used and price. I bought 11 of these. Just installed them. The best part is the cockroach trap design. Love the anti gravity close, no need for a well that needs constant cleaning. Now the only thing remaining to see how well it holds against corrosion over time, also see if the the metal piece that keeps the trap closed stays on.

This one makes the bathroom look neat, installing requires expert plumber and tile worker. It has a built in cockroach trap so you don’t have to worry about cockroaches coming in through bathroom. I am happy with the purchase intact I have got 6 of them in my house all from LIDCO. long time fan of this.

This drain insert is very robust and well designed . It comes with a custom fitted cockroach trap (choose the listing that includes the cockroach trap) . The fitting is to be laid either exactly flush with your floor or a millimeter or two lower facilitating effective drainage of water along the outer edge or lip into the square channel. The central tile receptacle allows you to insert a square piece of floor tile thus hiding the drain. This instantly transforms the look of the bathroom flooring adding class & refinement. Have attached a photo of one of the five bathrooms I am using the inserts for - very neat, very classy, very satisfied

I purchased these believing that LIDCO was a high quality, SS316 product - unfortunately not! Firstly the steel, I would question whether this is SS316 stainless steel (going of weight, smoothness, and comparison to the replacement model I purchased). Admittedly, I am no steelworker but can tell by weight and appearance. The biggest problem with this product was the reversible tile insert, which was not level with the surrounding frame. So, after fixing a tile to the middle, there was a drop of around 6mm, resulting in an uneven floor (this for me was unsightly, and also dangerous as you could stub your toe or trip when walking over it!). Needless to say, I purchased new Italian floor drains which are heavy duty, flush with the floor and overall a better product.
