First Aid Only Water Jel Sterile Plasters 10 x 10 cm (Pack of 3)

Nothing better! I call this my "miracle" stuff! Had a pretty severe burn from grabbing/lifting a pan out of the oven. The pain was intense. Remembered the Water Jel. Yeah! I applied the 4 x 4 pad covered in gel and it reduced the pain quickly. The burn then continued to intensify, again. After awhile I wondered if I should re-soak the pad, and Finally looked at the directions:) Just kept adding more jel to the top of the dressing for next 3 hours. During that time the blisters got really big.... Then the pain subsided. The blisters started going down. I covered my hand with Aquaphor, and a glove and went to bed. Everything was heeled by morning! You couldn't tell I was even burnt. I was seriously shocked and happy. My husband said "we need to reorder that" right away. I will never not have this available......just in case.

I am an Eagle Scout and paramedic wanna-be and this is the BEST (underscore that) thing for burn treatment. I've read medical reviews of this, all praising it (with statistically signifigant results) and I've used it personally for a roommate who had put his hand to a camp stove that was 400+ degrees. We originally thought we would have to take him to the ER but we used a couple 4x4s immediately out and put it on...no blisters formed and he had no pain within 36 hours. I've also used related Water-Jel products for sunburns with remarkable results. I'm telling you, this is THE premium stuff when it comes to burn treatment. If it saves you even one trip to the ER, recovery time, or at the least, some serious pain relief, you'll be glad you paid the $3-5 per 4x4 dressing. I carry 3 of these in my first aid kit, along with individual dose packages and a spray pump and feel great about it.

WaterJel has become my go-to treatment for minor burns. It has found a place in my kitchen, my workshop, and in all of my first aid kits. A contact burn from a hot pan in the kitchen, a curling iron in the bathroom, a soldering gun in the shop...they are all preventable but somehow we still get them. Given that, gently rub on some WaterJel and pain is diminished almost immediately. Moreover, a burn that normally would have blistered now likely will not (the skin on the burn site may toughen a bit, like a burn which has already begun healing). Make no mistake, this is for minor burns only, not 2nd or certainly not 3rd degree, but this is comforting to have around when the inevitable occurs.
