I received my Ring Light yesterday from Amazon (2 days after I ordered it). It was nicely packed, and comes with a nice carrying bag.I have investigated a number of such products in Amazon, and I find the ESDDI Ring Light to be exactly what I needed. It gives me the flexibly of providing uniform light coming straight from my camera’s point of view eliminating strong harsh shadow like those you get using a regular flash.The Ring Light set comes with a very study stand with adjustable height, making it very suitable for a main light or a fill light. It also comes with a flexible extender bracket which may be used to extend the height of the light stand. A hot shoe stand (provided) can be mounted on the lamp’s hot shoe receptacle, allowing me to attach my DSLR camera on it or my smart phone (Samsung Edge S7) using the phone clip (also provided) centered at the Ring Light (see attached pictures).The Ring Light features a control for Color Temperature adjustment (3200K to 5600K) ranging from Soft (or Warm) White to Daylight lighting environment. What I also find very useful is a second control to adjust the light Intensity which together with the Color Temperature control, allows me to create almost any lighting conditions - from cozy intimate to bright vibrant and crisp invigorating ambience.From my experience I can see that the light is most useful for both professional and amateur use. It is not only a great add-on to any studio lighting systems, but is and very suitable for home use, such as U-Tubing videos or still shots. Best of all, the kit is very inexpensive while providing the functionalities of the more expensive kits in the market.I highly recommend the product.

I'm a small business craft maker and purchased this item for photography for listings on etsy and FB. I got tired of waiting for early morning, clear skies to minimize shadows and reduce the amount of editing needed. Since I also work a day job, morning photography is only an option on the weekends.Package arrived on time, 2 days as expected. It was packed in a compact box, meaning little shifting while in transit. Inside the box were two things - one smaller box with the tripod and another carrying case with the ring light, all in perfect condition.Took about 3 minutes to assemble - if I remember correctly, two parts need to be screwed in, and one plugged in. That's it. Quick and easy set up!!Now to actual performance. The light is amazing!!! Easy to operate -literally 2 controls - one for brightness and one for warmth. This is perfect for indoor photography and the tone of the picture in looking for!The head is adjustable - so I can have light directly over the product instead of coming from the side. This means no ugly shadows. The height is adjustable too and can get way higher than needed. Folds down to be pretty compact for storage, but I may also use this as a light for working too, making it double purpose.Happy with the purchase and so excited I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. Wish I had done it months ago instead of constantly struggling with lighting.

This ring light is AWESOME. I use it for selfies and recording my youtube videos. It's so bright that it literally lights up my entire dorm room. The assembly instructions weren't too helpful, but assembly was generally pretty straightforward so I didn't need them very much. The only thing you have to be mindful of is the power cord; the end that connects to the back of the ring light is very sensitive, and if you shift/wiggle it just a little bit, the light will go off. But other than that, this light was an excellent purchase!

This is not the first ESDDI product and I am guessing won't be the last. I already own a tripod (love it) and flash for my Canon (love it). I own a digital marketing agency and we need to do shoots indoors sometimes and some applications don't work well with the camera flash. For example, we shoot video with an iPhone and even sometimes just use the iPhone for the photos. So this looked like it could be the answer. And it was.Most of the time you will want to use the stand and keep everything stable, but you can even just hold the light in your hand and move it around to light up areas or people. So back to us, this is like having huge studio lights on the subject without having the expense and setup. As you can see from my photos, everything comes in one box, easy to unpack and easty to put away. The lighting is very simple, turn on and then two knobs - brightness and then color of light.We are already getting amazing images and video. The difference is that we have never bever so easily been able to adjust the light color to see the different effect it will have and then choose and adjust. Thanks ESDDI for another great product!!

Great light for indoor Vlogging. It’s powerful enough to reduce your camera’s ISO from a few thousands to less than 200, and reduces picture noises significantly. It is also easy to setup, and has multiple levels in temperature and power settings to meet different demand.

Provides excellent lighting for bloggers, YouTubers etc. A little top-heavy but well constructed. I like the light temperature variable dial, the brightness control and the height. I wish the stand would fit in the carry-all bag though.

I don't get why they included the flimsy top bar component. I'm assuming it's too adjust the light, but because it is so top heavy, it almost can't support it's own weight, making adjustments impossible anyways.
