Do I need a adapter to use this lens on the z6ii camera body???

No adapter needed for a Z-series Nikkor lens to any Z-series Nikon camera body. The Z mount is a match.

Is z 24-120 S stabilized?

This lens does not have it but if you're using it on the Z6-6II, Z7-7II, Z5 and Z9 then they all have in body stabilization and your good to go. But if you have the Z50 and ZFC they do not so your out of luck.

Does this lens allow mechanical shutter option when it is attached to a z camera? on my z6ii with 24-120, it does not allow mechanical shutter option.

It does have an auto/manual switch.

Will this lens fit a Nikon D90 ?

No, this is the Z mount lens. For the Nikon D90, you need the F mount version of 24-120 f/4
