Do these shirts need ironing? Are they wrinkle free? I am looking for a shirt that can come out of the dryer ready to wear with no need to iron.

HelloI have not ironed husbands work shirts since buying these. Either right Out of the dryer I Hang up or right out of washer I hang up to dry. Collar stays perfect no wrinkles these are one of my husbands favorite shirts. Hope this helps

For the "long" size, is that closer to the large size in the neck and chest? Or would be more like me extra-large?

They are roomy all the way around. I'm normally a comfy 3x guy and I ordered that one first. It's more like 4x. The neck and chest are roomy in both 2x and 3x. The shirt is basically made to allow room everywhere. Be wary a long is pretty long so if your not a tucker it's gonna look kind of funny. Since I don't tuck I just can't really wear it cuz I'm only 5'7. I look like I'm wearing a dress.

Do these button up to the neck?

They do not button to the neck. With the top button done they kind of have a v neck look. But not real low. Nice for work if you have to move.

How is the breathability? I work outside in high humidity trying to find a light shirt to wear

It's medium to lighter weight side, not thick like a flannel shirt, and not super thin like sheer stockings either. Label says 65% polyester, 35% cotton. It's been cold and rainy here so couldn't tell you how breathable in warm humid weather. I have to wear a t'shirts underneath because it's cold here. The material is tough like a work shirt should be. Dickies also make a work shirt that has no flaps on the chest pockets, it's also lower price so maybe it might(not sure) be lighter weight than this shirt.
