Effective but please be careful!
I felt intimidated before I used this product. At first, it was overwhelming based on the burning that occurs upon application, so in order to not over do it I left one layer on for one minute and neutralized and rinsed. I recommend this level for everyone for their first round. I understand I may not have achieved significant results but it’s more important to experience your skin’s behavior ultimately. There is plenty of product. I’m a licensed cosmetologist. I’ve done a handful of peels before from my plastic surgeon before, so I wanted to be careful. I am a redhead and have slightly sensitive skin and my face was dry, tight and slightly flakey for a couple days post application. I’m on my third round spaced two weeks apart each and I’ve increased my layers each time. My skin isn’t so shocked and the sensation isn’t so abrupt. It’s a different sensation then at a doctor or a med spa because you are numbed or those peels are self neutralizing. Just trust your gut. If it’s too painful, just neutralize and rinse. I have comedonal acne and it has seemed to help so far. I think it’s important to start mild like this formula, even if you have been seeing a professional for years, like myself. I am a cosmetologist but I’m not an esthetician by trade and and it’s important to take it easy.

Great Product for Adult Acne
This product works great. It does burn and frost over but the results are great. I'm a 36-year-old female with moderate acne and large pores and oily skin and sensitive skin. I have gotten peels at the dermatologist before for $80-$100 and this product is very comparable. I did it every 7-days with great results.

Good amount of peeling
Big difference after the first few times I used it. I'm already using a 4% SA daily lotion and I use Retin A, I laid off both for a day before using this. I applied very, very sparingly and used a gauze cloth instead of a cotton ball because the gauze spreads it around the fabric while a cotton ball keeps it saturated in one spot. First time I did 2 minutes. It stung but not horribly. I rinsed with the homemade baking soda and water solution. I noticed peeling on my nose within a few days. A week later I did it the second time and I went up to 4 minutes, it was a little tough to go that long. Started seeing more peeling a few days later. My skin wasn't sore or irritated. Third time I went to 8 minutes. By the time the bottle was done I was up to about 45 min. I did get a nice amount of peel and new skin especially after the first few times. In some areas got some sheets of skin off. By the end of the bottle my skin got used to it so now I'm at 20%. Make sure you double up on sun screen and re-apply during the day, the new skin is much more sensitive to sun.

Works Well
This gave me a great peel. It seemed to peel me more than the TCA 15% that I also purchased, but that may be a matter of how long I left each on my face.

Disappointed
I purchased this with the help of a dermatology nurse practitioner. It goes on thick staying where i put it on. I don’t know know if my skin doesn’t react as others or if this isn’t as described to me. I looked for the veil turning to know to wash with cool water to deactivate. No instructions included. I don’t think it worked for me. I use other products that do more.

Instructions included, but still missing critical safety details”
This 15% salicylic acid peel feels extremely strong and produces immediate, intense whitening after application. The seller includes an instruction sheet, but it remains too vague for a professional chemical peel. It says to leave the product on for “a few minutes” and suggests applying up to five layers without providing exact timing, clear endpoints, the product’s pH, complete ingredients, solvent or vehicle, or detailed guidance for different skin types. Because I cannot verify the formulation or confidently determine a safe application protocol, I have not used it on clients. The manufacturer should provide complete technical information and more precise professional instructions.

Wow!
Using it very cautiously by means of cue tips every three weeks. Two applications so far, with increased understanding of the product and results each time. Obvious, positive results.
