I installed this nightlight in my washrooms and have been delighted with its subtle amber glow. The nightlight gives off a warm, amber-toned light - not too bright or clinical. The soothing hue is perfect for navigating to the bathroom at night without disrupting sleep. It plugs into any outlet and automatically turns on at dusk, then off at dawn. The auto-on photocell sensor is convenient and reliable. While basic, the amber light is calming and the automated function is nice. For a nightlight you simply set and forget, this model hits the sweet spot. I'm not left fumbling in the dark or blinded by harsh light at night. If you want an easy-on-the-eyes nightlight that turns itself on and off, look no further.

This LED night light has been such a simple but helpful addition to our home. It gives off a soft, gentle glow that’s bright enough to see where you’re going but not so harsh that it wakes you up or hurts your eyes in the middle of the night. I love that it’s energy-efficient and stays cool to the touch, which makes it great for hallways, bathrooms, and kids’ rooms. It provides just the right amount of light for nighttime trips without flipping on overhead lights.

These are great nightlights because they are just bright enough, but the amber color does not wake you up! Pleasing amber light color.

I like them. They put out a nice even glow, kind of an orange yellow. The dusk to dawn sensor slowly ramps up the night light brightness as the room light gets dimmer. I’m using 2 of them above a long kitchen counter, and they make a great nightlight in that application. Plenty of bright to see the room, for a glass of water or make a snack at the counter. I could see some people thinking they’re too bright for a bedroom nightlight. The nice thing about too bright is, you can put a little piece of masking tape or something over it (I use a self adhesive felt furniture foot to do that - looks made that way) to dim it down or move it to a better location. A light that’s too dim is useless. Everyone’s requirements are different. A bright night light with an adjustable dimmer would be the perfect solution, but that extra complexity ramps up the cost quite a bit, so I see why they’re not prevalent. If these fail prematurely, I’ll update this review. But I like them, they emit a pleasant even light, and they look good abd unobtrusive in the room.
