These are great pencils for drawing. the lead is really good. They are very smooth can take pressure without breaking. They feel great in the hand. Not cheap but so worth it. I recommend the black wing sharpener as well. Makes a really long point.

It is perfect pencil

These pencils are really nice and worth the price. The lead is very soft and the leads are dark. They come in different shades of graphite from very dark to light. The eraser on top may be replaced easily and the erasers work very well. I’ve used these pencils for years for drawing, quilting, writing and wherever a good line is required.

If you are a serious writer or doodler this is the one luxury item you have to spoil yourself with. The difference between the Blackwings and any other pencil created is day and night. My son loves to draw and scetch...he swears by these. They are the best he says. I had difficulty located them in town so went right to Amazon and here they are. They are a little pricee but with price comes quality sometimes.

I’ve heard these are the best pencils ever made, so I finally wanted to give them a shot. Although they are soft and smooth to write with I find the 602 is the best for me. It is the hardest of the three options. Being able to replace the erasers is a huge bonus also.These are not the special editions as described. However at this price point this is the cheapest way to jump into the Blackwing world.

I didn’t know these existed. I read about them in a novel I was reading and figured I would give them a try because I love writing and drawing with pencils. Very smooth feel when using for any type of drawing/writing. I am hooked on these, a must try for those who enjoy the tactile feeling of a good pencil.
