The guitar looks handsome and even better in reality. This guitar has exceeded my expectations. The reverb and chorus effects take it to another level, giving it a depth and richness that you’d expect from a more expensive instrument. It really deliver superb sound. Gotten this at a very good price. It's an incredible value!. ( The action is set a bit high, but it can be easily adjusted to your preference) UPDATE here : After over a year of playing, I found out that Elixir strings really shine on this guitar. I’ve also played it onstage plugged in. Like many acoustics, it has a bit of that typical piezo quack through the wire. It still sounds really good, but I recommend running it through an EQ or a solid DI box (like a LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI) to get a truer, more pleasant acoustic sound through the PA.

This is an amazing transacoustic guitar. Yamaha really has a winner here! The action is fantastic and the hardware on the guitar is solid state. I have had many different guitars over the years but this one is the best.

I have a pile of guitars and I do my own set up and minor repairs.. This was perfectly set up out of the box. Good tone and strong projection. The only thing I didn't like is there is no indicator light to tell you if the electronics are on.. seems odd to exclude that. Otherwise is a great instrument.
