Philips Ujjwal 20-Watt LED Batten, Cool Day Light, 4 feet-Synthetic

At first impression, the led light looked very small. But after installing the output did not disappoint. Nice tube lights

I have bought this LED batten 3 months ago for my personal use. I own all brands LED batten so if you want to compare all, just read on About the LED batten: It is an excellent tube light which is bright, energy efficient, lightweight and easy to install. Look wise it looks very good. Product comes with a pair of mounting bracket, but it does NOT come with screws and plastic plugs so i have deducted one star for that. Being new to LED Batten I was really skeptical at first about the light intensity and the colour tone. Turns out, this product far exceeded my expectation. The light intensity is much better than a 40w tubelight, and colour temp is also so good. I have Replaced conventional tube lights in all my rooms with different different brands LED batten. That's why I said that I own all brands LED batten. :p A minus point about this product is, other than the lightning deal it's a little bit costly in compare to competition. I have Wipro, Phillips, Crompmton Syska, Even Surya LED which govt. provides us at electricity office, but I warn you that Don't buy those Surya LED, that LEDs looks cheap and quality wise that are not good. Govt Provided LEDs are very less brighter than these branded LEDs. Wipro vs Syska vs philips vs Crompton: In terms of brightness and price the Winner is Wipro. Wipro Led also comes with screw and plastic plugs which Phillips does not. But phillips is also very good and there is neck to neck competition in these two. In Competition Crompton is also in the race beacause it also provides a good quality LED at Reasonable price. Crompton LED also comes with screws and Plastic plugs. I don't suggest Syska LED because that are not durable. so order preference should be Wipro> Cropmton> Philips> Syska> Others Installation: I have a drill machine so installation was a piece of cake for me, if you don't have a drill machine, you have to arrange one for a permanent fix. Overall verdict: You can buy this without a second thought, you will not regret.

Good ledd tube for home use

The product was delivered as damaged. I raised a return within the TAT. It has been 2 months the return is not picked up. The status of my return still shows as scheduled in amazon.There is no way to contact amazon support. This is loot. Please refund my money.

First LED baton I bought. I have many LED lights and most of them fade out in a few months and in an year they only put out half the luminescence and this is pretty bad even for name brands. So by now I am weary of buying LED's I dont know about. This is not as bright as the high luminescence 22W wipro. Which would be like 30% brighter even if only 10% more efficient and 10% higher capacity, enough to be really noticeable. I though of installing the wipro 22W but that would make the room too bright and that is not good for a place you are relaxing in all the time.But for an office setting etc I would use the wipro instead of this Phillips. Delivery and packaging was good, The original box was put inside some kind of cardboard tube and then wrapped in plastic cover so it stayed dry even though it was raining. The entire thing can be lifted easily with 1 finger. For most setting where you relax I think the 18W Crompmton is more than enough which was like 1800 luminescence. Although a regular tube light has 3000 lux, that light is 360 degree and half is wasted in the rear. So the 1500 lux towards the front is lower than a 1800 baton which is all towards the front and now you know why something rated half as much is brighter. I have concerns how long this would last. But 4 years ago I got 1/2W Philips night lights installed and although they are on 12 hours a day every day they are still working and just as bright while all the other makes are pretty dead. They turn on yellowish and output no light. Like the phosphor converting it to visible light has burnt off. By now I learnt the hard way to make sure I buy something that will last as replacing them is a huge task. Price of product seems to make no difference since it is the LED's thats used in a product that makes a difference. But never buy cheap Chinese or clones. You might think you dont use it much so why pay double or even more. The thing is they wont even last that long. So only experience counts since there are a lot of LED lights and you dont know before hand the type of LED's used in them. Top of the line is Wipro for brightness and they also last while Cropmton and Philips are pretty good and durable. Wipro comes with both screws and clamps while philips and Crompton comes with only clamps and you have to buy the screws separately. I removed the old 28W slim line energy efficient tube light and used the same meta hooks in place to attach to the wall and wired in the 2 leads so did not have to even drill any holes or anything.. I should say these are light enough to just attach using those 3M dual sided tapes if you so desire. Which might be easier for most people. Not the cheap Chinese yellow dual sided tapes but the 3M with the RED sticker and the black polythene tapes. Its light enough to not peel the paint off the wall and will stay there

Out of four one tube lamp not burning. Package ends damaged. Locally I rectified the defect. Pls send clips and screws. 4sets.

One LED tube light out of 2 supplied is not glowing fully. The other one is ok and I have already fitted in my drawing room. Hence need to replace one tube light only.
