Winco Coiled Spring Extra Heavyweight Stainless Steel Utility Tong, 9-Inch

No tongs, that we’ve come across have been as great and reliable as these. The spring has just the right amount of give and resistance to it. The size- is- (chefs kiss) 💋 My and husband and I don’t like tongs are too long, have rubber or material that comes off eventually, and you have to wrestle them to get into the drawer or utensil holder! 😭🤭 unless that’s a me thing- BUT! These changed the game. So lightweight, durable, well made, perfect for grilling and just about everything we’ve used them for! I know this review is crazy for some tongs but— if you’re picky and are particular in the kitchen, try them out!!!!! (Husband’s also a chef so & says they’re the best we’ve come across)

Very sturdy and strong! I have other tongs that work but easily drop food if not gripped tightly. These tongs are strong and do not take much of a grip to grab food. Definitely recommend!

These tongs have just the right amount of spring to pick up whatever you're cooking. They are sturdy but lightweight and a good size and will stand the test of time. Overall, they're a great addition to any kitchen or a replacement for a worn pair. And when it comes to clean up, it's a breeze.

Questionable finish, which makes me question quality. See photos. Otherwise, for under $3, it’s a good regular size, feels sturdy, and the hinge is solid. Also, the open position is not excessive. No clip to keep it in closed position, but not necessary at this price point. Conclusion, not my first choice out of the drawer but solid tongs to have as a helper.

Time tested design, no nonsense just pure function with an eye towards reliability. Well made, no wobble/looseness, precision feel. Very reminiscent of the virtually indestructible tongs used in a restaurant I worked in at nights during high school. Those would be thrown around, dumped in commercial dishwashers and then dumped en masse into dry buckets for use. This was back when the earth was young so I guess those were made in the U.S. Maybe these are too - don't know but at this price point, seems unlikely. This appears to be *exactly* the same design. Also reminds me of the knuckle head kitchen staff using these to snap at each other. Clack, clack, clack! Kids... Well done Winco. Probably unbeatable at this price point.

Solid, heavy tongs. Tight spring.

Strong and study...but heavy to the feel when being picked up. Also it is not made in the US. It is made in India. Amazon need to update their products information better on where items are made as people are shopping.
