If you use the outlet you block the usb and if you have a normal plug you block the usb... or if you use the usb you block the plug Customer service is phenomenal

Looks Amazing and Does Exactly What We Wanted
I’m a homeowner not a professional electrician. We recently painted an accent wall black. (Side note: online it’s not uncommon to read you should not paint a wall black as you’ll regret it but ignore them. It’s exactly what we wanted.) First of aesthetically we love these matte outlets but the big advance is the USB & C ports. It’s great not to hunt around for one of those always missing white cubes.
