My son put the keys to my car in this thing and forgot the word he set it to. Is there an override code for this? I have to leave for work soon.

Yes, you absolutely CAN open it, but it takes some time. What you do is use some kind of narrow tool to create a space between rings. Start at the top two. Pry them GENTLY apart. You need good lighting for this next step. Look at the underside of the top ring. You'll see a space underneath each letter. The coded letter will have a small tab in it. So slowly and carefully turn the ring, and examine each slot until you find that tab. Write down the letter (because the ring will turn as you continue examining the other rings). Do this with each of the next rings. For the final ring, you can simply turn the dial until the cryptex opens.

Yes. It comes preset with the five letter word "GRAPE"You take it apart and the code can then be reset to any five letter word of your choice. You get to figure out what clues to give based upon the word you've chosen.

Hi. The exposed bottle portion (above the base), is 4 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches in length. There is 2.5 inches of additional length of the bottle inside the base toward the bottom. To fit into the base, the bottle tapers inward down to a smaller diameter at neck (where the cap is threaded on). What you can fit inside is limited by the neck's inside diameter which is about 2.8 inches. Maximum length of anything would need to be less than 8 inches. Maximum diameter of anything would need to be less than 2.8 inches. That still give lots of options for what you can put inside.Hope this helps answer your question.
