Herbsmith Microflora Plus – Dog Digestion Aid –Probiotics and Digestive Enzymes for Dogs – Prebiotic for Dogs – 120 Capsules

I rarely leave reviews, but this is the only brand of probiotics that actually works on my dog. Her stomach issues are gone, poop consistently is good. No more soft to hard.

My American Bully is very sensitive with what he eats. He has yeast flare ups that make him have chronic ear infections in one ear and makes between his toes red, puffy, and irritated. I've gone to the vet and they wanted to keep him on antibiotics and give him injections that would help his symptoms but not actually cure him and that would also affect his immune system. I chose to refuse it as It's not super bad as I manage it with zymox for his ear, low glycemix index high quality food with little starch (and sugar), and natural supplements like apple cider vinegar and fish oil. However, I wanted him to be %100 so I looked into natural pro and pre biotics since yeast is controlled by the food and digestion of it. I looked through many, many brands and formulas and settled on this one as it has pro, pre, enzymes, and herbs all in one with a fantastic list of ingredients and amounts plus the price is amazing for the quality. He has been on it for a week and so far less irritation on his feet and in his ear, his coat is looking a bit healthier, and overall I am seeing a difference. I'm very happy with this product and I think it is exactly what he needed to help aid in his digestion. I give one to him in the morning and one in the evening with his food, I mix a little bit of either canned food or raw egg w/ shell in his kibble to help 'mask' it and he eats it right up. Great product, highly recommended. :)

Yall. My sweet girl is 10 yrs old. Shes a mutt, yorkie/chihuahua. For about 6 years, she would vomit yellow froth. Probably 3x a week or so. I thought this was something dogs did. Yes, she has eaten dry dog food- with occasional canned wet food. But young and on a budget; she was just a lucky dog not in a shelter. Well, her breath has always been stinky. Her energy slowed down around 6 years old or so. She would mostly lay around. Snuggle. Didnt run much. Shes alert; but she just looked like something was bothering/ailing her. I took her into vet about 4 years ago. They said she had high liver enzymes. They wanted to put her on that "SCIENCE DIET". I have friends that did that- their pet died... I took her off canned food about 2 months ago. The yellow stuff slowed down. I started making her food. I brown ground beef, steam green beans, broc, carrots, peas, boiled eggs and mix it with thyme, rosemary, parsley. Her poop every few days would have a mucus plug around it. But I knew it was better for her than canned food; cause every time I gave her any brand of canned food- she would throw it up. So with the homemade meals- She wasn't digesting her food- a whole chunk of carrot would come out the back end. So she wasnt breaking things down (and lacking nutrition since her body wasnt breakin it down). I started looking up kidney/liver/pancreas dysfunction. I kept coming across probiotics (she needed enzymes). Shes only 8 pounds so the capsules give us 60 day supply. The value, couldnt beat it. Around day 5, she had some more pep in her step. Today, day 30. SHE IS NOT THE SAME DOG. She is like a puppy. She even wants to play with ME! She hasnt done that in years, it brought me to tears to see her old self shine through. She chases our other 2 puppies around the yard. She is able to keep up with them for the most part. She wants to walk around house, investigate more... instead of lying around. She has no problem taking it, I open half the capsule and dump her half on food. Close the capsule for the next days dose. She licks her plate. Now that Ive had her on this for 30 days-I am now starting her on kidney/liver cleanse. I think Rover makes it? Its a small black jar, purple label. I've also read dandelion is great for their liver to detox all the crud they've had over years. I do that every other day. Im going to stock pile this stuff. I may stick it in freezer? So shelf life keep and I dont run out. Its incredible to see such quick results. Ill have to come back and edit this for a 6 month update. 🐾💝

My favorite pet store owner recommended this-it's what she gives to her menagerie. I love the smell (cinnamon and licorice and ginger) and my fussy dog eats it -no problem. I break apart the capsules to sprinkle the powder and mix in her wet food. Not sure if she would buy into eating the whole capsule thing. I have to hide her meds in clever ways as it is.

This product has helped my pets with reduction of ear discharge and itchiness. Pets love it and give amount according to instructions.

I believe that probiotics are good for everyone, including my 11-year-old dog. I can't say it helped his breath any, but, overall, I continue to use this product because I believe its beneficial.

I love this product!! I bought this for my dog because she had a lot of gut issues and she was also eating poop. Since taking the Microflora Plus I have seen major improvements in her gut and she no longer eats poop!! I will continue to purchase this!

Seems to help my dog out a bit. Easy to administer, no odor, no scent, chewable, although I just added it to my dogs food or hid it in a treat.
