Overall quality is good.
I bought 2 of the step down converters. One of them has its inductor loose. I had to use hot glue to fix the wobbling because I was afraid that it would break. The converter does not heat up too much so that's good. I have not opened the other one yet but after noticing the wiggle in the first one I checked the other one in the package. The second one was not damaged so that's ok. At last one suggestion that I would give is to have a power indicator light.

Working well for stepping down. Not for stepping up.
This converter board is working well for stepping down the voltage, however it is not working for stepping up as one might look at its functioning. This has LED to show up that itโs working well. Once set up then it is giving constant output to the set value. Set value donโt change by on/off of this module. I have tested it on battery. On 3.7 volt Li-ion battery it seems to refuse to work very hard. However on 12v SLA battery it is working brilliantly and came down to the most common voltage of 5.0v exactly. Now whenever Iโm switching it on itโs giving up fixed output of 5.0 volts. I believe this module has great purpose and solutions to everyday life. For example this can avoid the need of a car charger or another costly charger if wired for charging phones or tablets. Working well. Thanks...,

Waste of money and time
It doesn't work.. waste of money and time

Satisfactory..
It's not the best, yet it's not the worst. There is a noticable voltage +or- offset for every turn off and on cycle. But it's not that noticable when working with 5V logic systems.

Good But tiny and delicate item. Didn't expected it will be so small.
I saw a review posted by one of the customer who bought this card. ordered this for gas geyser as tired of changing the batteries.Batteries in this geyser are used for spark ignition and solenoid valve operation. If small amount of voltage drops from batteries those valves were not able to open and ignite the gas geyser and hence everytime had to change the batteries.I don't understand why the manufacturer has not given this system or may be because of safety reasons like what if it doesn't shut the solenoid valves of gas. Anyway i took this risk and fixed it and it's working fantastic. This review is just one day old.May be later i will put after some months usage....I was having normal mobile charger which gives output of 5v i just needed it to step down to 3volt for my gas geyser and here it is works good.Lets see how long this modification lasts . It is very delicate and also i suggest vendor to make a box if it is such a tiny item. Had difficulties in soldering the wire for input and output and had fear that after soldering if it doesn't work. Suggesting to make improved arrangement in your further products.... Overall it's good product....thanks Review after 1 year it's still working fine

What a diasppoinment?
The item I received is not working, I tried to adjust the potentiometer but the output voltage is same as the input voltage. Replaced the item and even the second one does not work as mentioned, I wanted to reduce 14.22 v DC to 9 v DC for using a common DC source with my modem with needs 12 v and router which needs 9 v DC. The circuit does not reduce the voltage below 13.6 v DC no matter how much I rotate the screw on the blue potentiometer. I couldn't however found any number on which I could have contacted the Vendor directly over this matter.

Great little DC to DC converter.
Bought two of these to step down from 12V Battery (part of a small solar installation - so input voltage can vary to around 14V ) one steps down to 5V and one to 3.6V - the output voltage is easily adjustable via the little screw on the blue pot (variable resistor). Both are working very well, handling about 0.5A each and generating very little heat. Output appears stable as far as I can tell with my digital voltmeter. 5 stars as I think they are great value for money and appear well made. I'll update this review in a few months to report on reliability.

Superb piece of kit
Very easy to set up - connect the source voltage to one side and a multimeter to the other and then turn the screw in the top of the potentiometer (the blue box at the top) until you get the output voltage you're looking for. An essential component of any project that needs mobile power. This unit is currently powering my Raspberry Pi from a 9V battery.

Perfect
This little adjustable Power Supply module worked brilliantly for converting the lighting in our caravan. We will definitely be getting more.

not a good product. the voltages on the caps are too low thus it cannot handle high voltages as been stated on the tin
