This is a comfortable and efficient pump - once you get the vacuum set up, very little pressure is required to express milk. You can sit back comfortably too, it's true that you don't need to lean forward. Assembly is simple and the lid is good, it keeps the sterilised parts clean when you're transporting it around. I carry this to work and it fits nicely into a small handbag. It isn't noisy at all, I can use it discreetly in the bathroom at work. You just have to make sure all the parts are properly fitted in and dry, it only squeaks when it isn't dry. The box comes with two sample packs of Philips Avent disposable nursing pads thrown in for free, those were a nice touch. The small bottle holds 125 ml and comes with both a teat and a sealing disc, so you can transport expressed milk and then directly feed the baby from the bottle by switching the teat for the disc. I was in two minds as to whether to pump at all, but I'm really glad I decided to go ahead with it - this pump is convenient to use and makes it really easy to express.

I am writing this review after using for 3 months. I m working women and I m returning to work in 6 month... I brought this product reading one review of working women .. It's really working fine but manual effect, patients required. Initially it's hard to get 20ml, but if u find out the timing like I pump early morning 5 to 6, it's work great during u r full... It fill, 150ml in 15mins in manual when ur full and it's early morning time. I m using it daily basis.. Really good product but manual effect required, easy to clean and carry..... Product is good... But I received some damaged package from vendor.... Vendor service is worst..... But product is really helpful.. Worth to buy for pumping mother.

Hello moms. I am a working mom. I am started using the pump now as my baby is 4 months old. The Philips Avent Manual Comfort pump is really comfortable for expressing the milk without paining. In my case the best time of expressing the milk is while nursing. It could be expressed easily 80-90 ml of milk within 5 mins rather than expressing without nursing. Also dont lose the golden period (early morning) of having ours full milk . In this we can easily pumped out 125 ml of milk in 10 mins. So the pumped is absolutely worked for me and I stored my milk in freezer for later used for my baby. One important thing is dont lose hope while started using initially. For 3-4 days we could hardly expressed 20 ml . But as I said use it while nursing or in the early morning . This is just a great invention by philips of our mothers. Thank you.

Packaging was not Good and product i think useable, unhappy

The pump is easy to install and easy to use and affordable too. It really helps me a lot to nurse my baby especially during the night. I suggest every new mom to purchase this pump. It really makes my motherhood easy. Before first use I was little bit worried that it might hurt or it will be painful but I followed the instructions given by Phillips manual book and then I realized it was so easy.

The most 3rd class product. It has no warranty . It's expensive but won't work as expected. Within a months use it'll be starting loosen up from the actual suction pump. Amazon has 7days replacement guarantee which is definitely of no use as you won't be able figure out within a week's use . And without the warranty Phillips never replace any product seems like a well planned marketing for a useless product to sell in the market in the name of Phillips. If you have to use and throw any product never buy this product while spending so much of money.

The pump is very useful to determine the actual amount of milk being generated by mother so that we are rest assured of the right nourishment to our babies..We express once on alternate days to check if the amount is good enough for our baby.The product works well , though prolonged use is somewhat painful.Overall satisfied with the product...Would recommend this to others...

Good product. Adequate suction can be obtained and its easy to use and clean.Less amount of parts in the product to clean.The pumping action is soft on the breast as well.Hands get tired and painful on long duration of use and this is recommended only for occasional pumping or once daily pumping. More than that,better invest in electrical one

Amazing!!! Didn’t even bother to try an electric one. This one does such a great job. Easy to clean able to get 4oz/breast in about 15min/side.

I'm not sure while I had some doubt when I wanted to get this product. However, to my greatest surprise it has stood the taste of time and have proven to be a good product so far.

I just used my pump for the first time and I am so excited! I have been debating on whether or not to stop nursing my baby because we are going to be away from him in a week next month. I had pretty much decided to stop because it would be too hard to pump on the go with my electric and I also felt like my supply was down already anyway. However, I think this pump will be a game changer. It is so comfortable, easy to use and portable I really think it will be easy to keep up my supply while I’ll be gone ( hopefully baby will still want to nurse when I get back). When I used it just now I only expected to get an ounce or 2 and I got 4-in less than 10 minutes! I feel like the suction cup does an excellent job at mimicking a baby’s suck ( so unlike the electric pumps) with the added bonus that the little breaks I take to rest my hand further imitate my baby’s nursing pattern. I also feel like this will help a lot with overactive letdown as I can now quickly pump a little before nursing instead of having to go through the hastle of setting up the electric. This may well replace my electric pump. Since I just got it I haven’t experienced the noise problem some other reviewers mentioned, but honestly I don’t see that being a bother for me, since the comfort, ease of use and effectiveness are so great.

Es un producto de suma calidad, tanto en su material de fabricación como en su forma de extraer la leche, a mi esposa le encanto, estaba usando tiraleche del tradicional (del que trae una perilla de plástico) y con éste quedó fascinada, aparte de que aquellos tenía que estar vaciando cada 10 segundos lo que extraía de leche, con este se saca la leche de continuo sin pausas y acumula más rápido, y ya la estaban lastimando, y con éste Avent cero molestias, es sumamente práctico y rápido, se les recomienda al 100% sin lugar a dudas.
