This pot way exceeded my expectations. It is not flimsy, but has nice weight, large enough for an entire head of cauliflower to be steamed. at once, looks good and cleans nicely. Good buy for the price.

After researching and reading hundreds of reviews, I settled on the Tramontina 5 Quart steamer set to replace my favourite steamer/stockpot. I use this one mainly for steaming dumplings and cooking the occasional pasta but it is too small for making my Turkey soup. The first 3 times I used the pot, little white spots appeared at the bottom that didn't wash off. They looked like calcium deposits. I was going to return it but then the spots disappeared by the 4th time I used it and haven't come back. The steamer is not as solid as the pot but is still very good. The only thing I don't like is the indent/ridge inside the steamer as it tends to collect food bits and need more attention when cleaning. That said, this is a small inconvenience for good pot.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this pan—it’s even better than some $100+ options I’ve seen in stores. The size is just perfect, too. Thank you for providing such an amazing product at such a great value!
