Worked Fine for My 2001 Honda Civic Sedan
I bought these years ago assuming that the last bit of brake shoe on my 2001 Honda Civic was going to end any day, but it finally did last summer after 22 years and 320K miles! The goal is probably to get to 450K miles, so if these last half as long as the OEMs did I'll be fine. I had a shade tree mechanic install these for me, so I dunno how well they fit or if there was anything that had to be done to install them. I'm fairly sure he didn't need to drill anything. They appear to fit fine, and I've drive on them for like 15K miles with no issues. I bought the replacement brake hardware kit too, but returned that. Everyone told me it wasn't necessary. So yes, works fine with 7th gen civics, and hopefully this is the last car I ever own with rear brake drums!

I bought these brake shoes to repair my truck brakes. No time yet to repair but glad to have the new shoes here.

Barely fit on Honda Fit
First the hole for the emergency brake pin was too small. Filed out with rat tail file. Second, I could barely get the drum over the new shoes even with the adjuster screwed to the shortest position. Slowly worked it on and off several times. Finally pressing the brake down and activating the emergency brake several times made it just lose enough for the drum to spin with minimal drag. Hopefully they loosen up a little after a few miles. Will have to check frequently early on to ensure there isn't a lot of heat buildup.

I am an automotice mechanic and these drum shoes work great, I used in combination with the Raybestos H17352 spring kit. no excessive noise. Great comfort and peace of mind knowing all new componets and years of braking have been added. Although I installed on my person vehicle I wouldn;ty hesitate to recommend this combo to any customer.
