Simple, Reliable and Good 4G Feature Phone
Very good feature phone for basic daily use. The phone feels solid and comfortable to hold, and the buttons are easy to press. 4G calling is clear, the 2.4-inch display is decent, and the 1450mAh removable battery gives good battery life. USB-C charging is also a nice upgrade. The FM radio, MP3 player, Bluetooth and expandable storage are useful features. Overall, a simple and reliable 4G keypad phone for calls and basic use.

Extremely disappointing experience with HMD 110 4G
I purchased the HMD 110 4G expecting a simple and reliable feature phone. Unfortunately, my experience with this model has been extremely disappointing. The problems started after purchase and continued even after dealing with HMD's warranty support. My experience has involved multiple handsets of the same model, with issues occurring along the way. The biggest problem, however, has been the experience with the replacement process. When my handset required warranty replacement, HMD initially sent me a completely different handset—a 2G model instead of the HMD 110 4G. I had to repeatedly contact HMD Support and provide photographs, documents and other evidence to explain that the replacement they had sent was incorrect. What followed was an extremely frustrating experience involving repeated generic responses asking me to "wait" while the actual issue remained unresolved. Eventually, HMD arranged collection of the incorrect handset and promised to send the correct HMD 110 4G. After considerable delay (more than a month) and escalation (had to escalate my case to National Consumer Helpline), I finally received another HMD 110 4G replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement handset has now developed another serious problem. After using it for a few days, I noticed that pressing the keypad keys 7, 8 or 9 causes the handset to restart. This happens repeatedly. I performed a complete factory reset, after which the phone worked normally for several hours/a day, but the same problem returned again. This is particularly disappointing because this is not my first problematic experience with this model. My experience in summary: • ❌ Multiple handsets of the same model have had issues. • ❌ The warranty replacement process was extremely prolonged. • ❌ HMD initially sent a completely different 2G handset instead of the HMD 110 4G. • ❌ Customer support repeatedly responded with generic messages rather than addressing the actual problem. • ❌ I had to repeatedly follow up and eventually approach the National Consumer Helpline. • ❌ Even the eventual replacement handset is now exhibiting a serious recurring problem. • ❌ Factory reset only temporarily resolves the keypad/restart issue. I bought a feature phone because I wanted simplicity and reliability, not repeated troubleshooting, replacements and customer-support follow-ups. I cannot comment with certainty on whether the latest restart issue is a software/firmware defect or a hardware problem, but the fact that pressing specific keys repeatedly causes the phone to restart—and that the problem returns even after a factory reset—is extremely concerning. My recommendation to potential buyers: please think carefully before purchasing this model. My experience with the HMD 110 4G and the warranty support surrounding it has been deeply disappointing. For me, the biggest issue isn't simply that a handset developed a fault. Electronic products can fail. What matters is how the manufacturer handles the problem. In my experience, the replacement process and customer support were extremely frustrating and took far too long. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the HMD 110 4G.

Solid Basic Phone with Handy Features, but Disappointing Camera
I've been using the HMD 110 4G for a while now, and overall it's a decent feature phone for the price. Pros: Design & Build: The build quality is okay — nothing premium, but acceptable for the price. The phone is very light, which some might like, though it can also make it feel a bit flimsy. Bluetooth Contact Sync: One of my favorite features is the ability to sync contacts via Bluetooth from another phone. It made setup quick and easy. 4G Support: Call quality over VoLTE is good and signal reception is reliable. Cons: Camera: It’s advertised as a 5MP camera, but the quality is extremely poor — honestly worse than the VGA camera on my old phone. Don’t expect to use this for even basic photos. Cloud Menu: The cloud menu shortcut on the main screen feels unnecessary and I haven’t found a way to remove or change it. If there's a setting to customize this, it would greatly improve the experience. Final Thoughts: At this price point, the phone delivers on basic functionality with a few handy features like Bluetooth sync. Just don’t count on the camera. If HMD allows more customization like removing the cloud menu, that would make this a much better user experiece.
