Treadmill (Running Belt) Walking Belt Compatible with Proform 525 CT,Part Number 263241,Model PFTL49616-MX4

So far so good. Received and self-installed today. Ran 3 miles on it and seemed great —definite improvement from the old one. Only negative is the shipping is a little slow. I’ve had my Proform Pro2000 for about six years now and run regularly on it and run pretty hard. At about 190lbs and after literally thousands of miles, the original belt started to not feel the same, eventually tore a little, and became unusable. I hate the iFit interface but really like the treadmill. Changing the belt was the right call to keep using my treadmill. I also changed the deck at the same time (had literally cracked it over time). Price. Found for similar prices on treadmill websites but then those sites would add shipping and it was no longer cheaper. This product seems solid for the price. Quality. As noted above, I’ve had it one day and have run on it one time, but it feels like a nice product and was a huge improvement to my used up original belt. Installation. I installed it myself using tools I already had and after watching a six minute video on YouTube (by “Treadmill Doctor”). It was not a big deal but would have been easier with a second set of hands. I’ve never changed a belt like this but it wasn’t too bad. If you’re not handy, watch the video before buying and self assess if you might need help. Fit. The one negative review I saw seemed like the person bought the wrong size —you have to make sure you’re buying the right one. There’s not really a “universal” belt. The belt fits perfect on my Proform Pro2000. It also came with a small thing of deck lube to make sure it runs smooth. It’s nice that it was included —but you may want to get some more. There’s a kit on Amazon that has a stick with a long sponge —that’s pretty great for getting even application under the belt. Overall, happy with the purchase. Will update if it doesn’t hold up.
