This scoop feels much sturdier than the cheap ones I’ve used before. The trigger release works smoothly, and it makes evenly sized cookies so much easier when baking. Perfect for my cookie baking needs. I'm terrible with eyeballing portions, so this makes it way easier. Husband was skeptical the part that scrapes the back would actually work (he claims they never do), but I've used this scoop to make 3 different batches of cookies and it hasn't failed me yet. Very easy to clean, though I always hand wash it, so I can't comment if the dishwasher will ruin it, but it still looks brand new for me. It does hurt my hand a little after making so many cookies, but I think that's more of my hands being weak than it being too stiff. Overall, good purchase. If, for whatever reason, I needed a different size, I would definitely choose this brand again.

This would not hold up to being used as an ice cream scoop. I use it as chocolate chip cookie dough scooper - it works great. Perfect size cookies. Easy to scoop and overall the release mechanism works really good. I have a tendency to try and release it a bit too slowly sometimes and it works better when you release it quickly. It's dishwasher safe. Cleans easily. Good weight for scooping cookie dough. Recommend for cookie scooper, not ice cream scooper

I have been married for 16 years, and I've been disabled for about the last 8 years. I am just getting to the point where I can begin to cook and bake again. I have never had tools such as these scoops to get my cookies all the same size or the correct amount of batter in mini muffins, or even mini muffin tins as far as that goes. So, I'm having a ton of fun throwing out the old and bringing in the new. I really like this scoop. It's the perfect size for a regular cookie. It seems to be designed well and is easy to use. It scoops dough without a fuss or having it stick to the scoop too badly. It's really easy to work with and seems to be designed to last. It was very well priced for the quality of what you get. I hope to get these in several sizes for various candy making needs.

Perfect size. I have a large & small so I really needed this size the most for everything I do. I'm very happy with this & o love blue.

I have absolutely nothing against Ice Cream, but these are the best thing I have found to ladle raw cookie dough onto the baking sheet. The cookies all bake up to the same size. Because the amount of dough is the same, all the cookies bake the same. There are not some overdone cookies and underdone cookies on the same sheet. Real consistency in my cookies, which I think is a very good thing. Grandkids enjoy helping with cookies by using this too!! Try this next time you bake and see what I'm talking bout.
